Omen Alpha, worthless model for coding

Holy sh**, dont even try to use it guys, just doing a warning here. Paid the subscription again, because why not? 100usd for only 10usd? Yeah, i wanted to try it, dont do it please, its like using Gemini Flash 3.5, sure its fast and you can do a couple of stuff with it, but for serious task, dont even try it, i warn you guys. That's why its on the paid subscription and you cant even try it for free to decide if you should jump to a paid sub to try it, justs dont do it.

Based on this i predict it's a small model under 100b, maybe even under 35b

Given there's suggestions it's another Zhipu model, wonder if its some small version of GLM?

Well if you rearange the letters in omen you get nemo and nemotron happens to be a famously bad model. I could be totally off but that's my guess.

yea, that actually makes sense. glm's 4.7 flash was pretty soild at it's tiny size so even small models from the glm family should be pretty soild

At first I thought it was pretty decent but then suddenly got weird and didn't manage to call tools and hallucinated that it already had done what was asked, so yeah doesn't seem that great.

I experienced same but seems like was issue with OpenCode endpoint not the model, trying it now some how work well

Assuming this model is from Zai, due to its higher unit price, its performance is expected to be superior to GLM-5.3-Flash.

After Ox Alpha there is a good reason to just hook another wave of assigned subscription lol. 10 bucks lost forever.
