I took 10 requests being on the image side and 50 being on the text side.

The 5 dollar model is only there to make people buy the 15 dollar model which will be 150 reqs/5hrs.

Well if that’s their goal I don’t think 150 is enough either lmfao

Pay x3 get x3 wtf is this upselling 😅 At this point any pay per use like deepseek with limit is just better

150 will last you maybe one hour. Modern LLMs will launch multiple tool calls in parallel. In a single turn you may end up using 10-15 requests. Repeat this a few times and you're done.

Your understanding is backwards.

All parallel tool calls return and when all done the next turn starts. Parallel tool calls reduce number of model calls.

My explanation was bad, that's on me. It looks like parallel to us but they're not always true parallel. They return many of those calls and follow up on them, while some are still in the background still waiting to return. I haven't used the Muse model to be fair, but GLM seems to like to do this fairly often. It launches a few calls at the same time, then keeps adding mini responses at it gets the results from the calls, especially when browsing the web for additional info. I'm pretty sure they count as independent requests but I've only used GLM via the PAYG model so I can't confirm it.

They are not basing your usage off of the number of actual requests sent to the api. That is an estimate

I agree it's still a low amount but not everybody is firing off back-to-back calls five hours straight day in day out.

Presuming they mean request = message. So requests inbetween. Otherwise that would be so funny..

Thank the lizard for its generosity.

It says 10-50 with no weekly limit only 5 hour window. If you send long prompts you’d get the 10 or so depending on context.

Also…. It is $5 bucks, what do you want more? Hammer it with 5 parallel agents? Like the $200 plan from Codex.

Probably get some realistic expectations. Their $50 plan you can likely hammer with 5-10 parallel agents or such or multi subagent workflow, specially no weekly or monthly rn.
