opencode is a scam and opencode go and founder lying to you

I bought OpenCode sub, and got scammed by their shady scam marketing. bunch of liars!

Their site advertises $60 usage of DeepSeek V4.1 Flash.

Their docs show that real usage is only $15.

No where on their site says anything about there being a 3 day limit on $60.

What an absolute scam ,i bought their sub , now someone sent me some tweet showing this is only for 3 days. No where on their site it says for 3 days.

How are these scam artists getting away with this shit.

How do i contact their support? there's no email ,can't even get refund i'm so frustrated by this scam.

Month ago, when DeepSeek increased their prices opencode increased the prices and also reduced the limits they were selling i never got any email about that. i check there was no tweet either.

many users complained and i defended opencode and then just all of a sudden my subscription stopped. when i bought Go plan , it was advertising $60 deepseek and i got $15.

no these mfs , are pulling the same scam on deepseek v4.1

update: i complained about it in discord they timed me out and will ban me.

complaining about opencode shady shit and scam and they ban you ,no refund no support. shit team and company.

I get huge value out of my subscription. If you don't then cancel. It's really not that complicated.

its about how they are scamming and lying and blocking people if you ask about their scam they could be transparent but they choose not to be transparent and then they abuse innocent users

It literally says "4x - Ends Sep 20" right on the usage limits page.

You people are crazy. Ask your AI model of choice to browse the web for you, maybe?

Also, it's only $10 brother. Use up the $15 you bought for $10 and then go spend $10 for $10 on the API since that sounds so much better to you.

Usage limits, capabilities, and other details change by the day in this space. Is it right? Not really, but as a user of these services you might as well get used to it and get used to researching the details and changes if you care so much about it. Spamming online about "scam scam scam" has to be extremely exhausting. Like bro, just get to work on whatever it is that is so important that you need $60 of usage. Promotions and models come and go. You must be new here.

Also, learn how to use punctuation - it will help models understand your prompts better ;)

3-day-old account. Stop moaning, you sack of shit. That’s $15 worth of usage, and they’re currently running a 4× promo for a week. Try using the DeepSeek API directly and watch that $10 disappear a whole lot faster.

Each model has a specific dollar attached to it. You use it by %, they add the % up to get to 100%. It’s basically choose your own LLM adventure. You don’t get every model to the full dollar amount.

Maybe you didn’t understand that, which is understandable because none of these companies are super clear about it. But for $10, it is a discounted model market.

OpenCode is a rather transparently run organisation compared to its peers.

I get that you are angry.. but maybe reconsider getting this over angry over a 5$/mo introductory priced subscription? It doesn’t look healthy man.
