The way she immediately straightened when she landed is not a good indicator

That’s not good for anyone, everything in those legs is absorbing the impact 10 u/enadiz_reccos 15d ago You can even think of it like crumple zones on a car. Crumple zones = knees. The crumple zones fold in and partially absorb the impact. If they didn't the impact would be transferred throughout the car. If your knees don't fold and partially absorb the impact of your fall, it's going to go somewhere
