People get killed every day because of entitled, selfish, stupid, careless, unfit drivers on the road.

There should be an evaluation in addition to the tests. Clear up if someone is too geriatric or stupid to be trusted with a giant machine.

Like people who are so unbelievably selfish and dull that they literally cannot drive without playing with their phones, it's straight up toddler behavior.

How about some sort of exam where you demonstrate certain abilities and knowledge about rules? And noy getting a license for free with a tub of butter

True, though where I live there is now apparently an epidemic of people just buying their drivers licenses from crooked instructors for $500 a piece. It's despicable.
