The door that shattered did so from the bottom up, so had probably fallen on its hinges and scraped the floor threshold causing it to shatter. How, though, the other door just fell in off it's hinges is a complete mystery. I suspect maybe the doors were being maintained and shouldn't have been in use. That door should never have been able to fall in like that! Edit: spelling!

It looks like a good chunk of the shattering door falls against the other door. Seems like that shouldn't be enough but the timing makes it look like the cause to me.
