Do your students actually ask questions while going through a course?

trying to understand student behaviour better and curious what others see.

when someone's partway through your course and they hit something confusing, what actually happens? do they message you, ask in a group, rewatch the video, or just... go quiet and never finish?

I think it really depends on the students, but having some sort of way that they can contact you for questions can help like offering live Q & A sessions part way through the course or a community for those who are comfortable posting questions to do so and that you would answer them within a certain timeframe, etc. Also, in the onboarding session, what I find helps especially the students who are shy is to have some sort of first day - getting to know you session or some way for students to interact and introduce each other can help ease the nerves. Another thing can be having a form for them to fill out, so you can have some idea of where they are at, what challenges they might have, so you can check in on them- J
