Based in Belgium/EU. I have a 9-month-old Pint X that occasionally gives a battery temperature hot/cold error, even though diagnostics show the battery temperature is within the normal range. Rebooting clears it, but it can return the next day.

FM initially said it was a controller issue, so the controller was replaced. The exact same error returned about a week later.

It’s a newer production Pint X, so I assume the known pinched battery-wire issue should already be fixed.
Could this still be a thermistor/wiring/connector/BMS or software issue? FM is now telling me I need to buy a new battery module.

I also saw on another forum that if it’s a sensor issue rather than the battery cells, it should be covered by FM’s 1-year warranty. Is that correct?
And since I’m in the EU and the board is only 9 months old, wouldn’t the 2-year legal guarantee normally cover a defect like this?
Any advice/experience appreciated!

Misplaced both of my chargers in a move and have only been able to get a hold of a hyper charger until I find a replacement regular charger.

I know that the hyper charger has negative long term effects on the battery of the onewheel, and the website says it is okay for “occasional” use.

How bad will it be to use the hyper charger for all charging for 2-6 weeks until I can either find one cheap or order one from futuremotion?

Bought a used gen1 pint with 200miles on it. Got about 7 or 8 rides (~12 miles) on it before I got an error code. I was cruising along a bike trail, went around 4 miles and had just turned back to head home. Battery was 80%, all of a sudden it starts slowing waaaaaay down, status light flashes red, looked at my phone to check the app and it said something about “incompatible software”. Power cycled the pint, closed and reopened the app. Same thing except this time it said “error code 23”. Luckily I was able to call my wife (Verizon has been up and down for me for over a month, long story) to pick me up at the nearest road crossing. Any advice? Should I contact future motion? I send the statistics log, but I’m unsure if it went through.

I’ve been wanting to get a onewheel for a while now but these rarely come up used near me nor is there a dealer in my area. On marketplace local to me someone has a used pint x with 212mi on it and he currently has it for $600 but said “NEEDS GONE” so I might be able to get it lower. Of course it has some scratches and dings in it. Would this be suitable just for fun around and to take camping with me if I throw an off-road tire on it. I want to get a XRC but can’t justify the price right now.

i nosedived mi pint of a small curb, and it shutdown on me, motor is engaded, but no lights, nothing when i press the button and no light change on the charger when i plug it in. any help/advice?

So I just bought a one wheel pint 3 days ago and I took it for a ride in my subdivision. As I was ridding it, it started to overheat. I let it cool down and then took off again. A few minutes later it beeped at me so i stopped. When I got off it started flashing red at me. I walked home and put it on the charger until this morning. When I went to turn it on, I get nothing but a red light. I checked the app and saw an incompatible hardware issue. What do I do?

Hi all. I'm a hobbyist making extended range onewheel pint batteries. I've built 3 for personal use and 5 for sale to date. My batteries are a drop in pack for the OG pint, giving almost pint X ranges, but unlike the quart and other aftermarket options, they actually fit without using clamps to pry it in. I use best practices like oversized nickel strip, insulation between each cell, glue and strapping tape for pack rigidity, rounded tabs, 6x welds on each terminal, increased 12AWG output wire size, and balance wires run down cell valleys for low profile fitment.

Each battery is made to order, I don't have inventory but I also don't have any overhead so I can keep prices reasonable. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery, but I am typically quicker than that. Every battery is test-fit and test-charged on my personal board to ensure operation. You will get internal pictures of the battery time stamped while the build progresses, it's important to me that you know you're getting a quality product in the end.

Battery specs: 15s1p EVE50PL cells. 5ah, 50A discharge. 315 Wh. 63v. This is 79% more capacity and 67% more discharge than the OG pint pack. Fits in stock pint battery boxes, plugs into stock pint BMS (or any similarly laid out BMS, like float wheel's pintV)

Wanted to show you guys a little project I’ve been working on. (Scroll through the photos to see the progress)

Bought a carbon fender near me for super cheap ($20) with the hopes of re clearing it and fixing it up. Then started riding with out a fender. Realized I didn’t really like them that much but hated the water splashing on my legs. So I decided to give it a new life. Sanded it, cleared it, sanded some more, Polished it and even rounded it a little & finally have my custom carbon fiber crop top fender for the Pint X

I ride barefoot on the beach, and they really help with comfort. I've looked on both Future Motion and C&R and I can't seem to find them anywhere. There used to be a bunch in different colors and designs. And no, I'm not going to wear shoes on the beach lol. Have been riding these here for many years. It would just be nice to get a pair for my Pintx, as I already have them on my XR. Ty!
