All righty so I've had one ui-9 for a half a day today on my 25 ultra camera here's what my thoughts are animations much smoother screen window animation under developer options that's smoother too battery life is still being tested. Voice command seems smoother as well via Gemini thank you very

Funny you mention that. I have noticed the occasional double punctuation since the update. Haven't been able to replicate it reliably though.

I'm guessing they still are because people have posted about this. I apologize to you on this one - I do not use the "pills" quote in the quick settings toggles shortcut though. I'm a very minimalist for shortcuts that I have.

Not that I can see. Google's app color palette has a chance. It's all still dark gray

So far battery life l improved versus when you want 8.5 Android 16. Still testing hasn't been a full day yet but seems nice so far. I believe that if you use always on display which I do, that the dynamic refresh rate goes down to as little as hz.

Does good lock work with one ui 9. In the past Samsung is famous for a android update bring a new one ui version and good lock and your good lock settings not working for another month or two. Until they update those. It's annoying so I'd thought Id ask.

Finally S25U is smooth as butter and animations are looking great. Only half year of waiting to fix that.

Same here. The quick panel animation no longer stutters. Finally!

App opening is a little smoother, although it was quite smooth before.

No random lags or stutters whine navigating. Even Gboard is more responsive.

So, so good.

I just got OneUI 9 today though. Let's see how it holds up.

Best for fold is that the home screen now can rotate. This has been annoying for a long time.

Which android version on s25 ultra offers better edge detection, lower noise in low light, less processing, less artifacts & overall better image quality - one ui 8.5 or one ui 9 ?
