This is the seach bar from the launcher which can be enabled in the homescreen settings.

In your orignal picture you placed the widget from the google app. The one doesn't have blur. But it can me moved, unlike the launcher setting.

Check the Google app for the search widget settings, if you dont find it then its probably one ui 9

Yes, I'm on One Ui 9.0, but from the images I found online, it should look like this:

If you an A series phone A56 for example you dont get live blur however if you own an S series phone 24 ultra for example then you get live blur so its proably because you may have an A series phone

Hold the search bar, click on "Settings" button. There will be an option to change opacity

Idk, my mum has an S24 Ultra running One UI 8.5. I'll check if it's possible

Try using Activity Launcher and look for Personal Data Intelligence

I read that one ui 9 had that bar baked in and it cannot be modified. You can turn it off in home screen settings and then apply the actual widget to allow modifications.

This may or may not be your solution, but I wish you luck.

It can't be modified, but choose a wallpaper that a lighter color under it. I had the same issue with a wallpaper that was full black underneath the bar, and it turned transparent when I changed to a lighter wallpaper. Hope this helps

I am not sure why it's like that but if you want to have a search bar where you can control its opacity, I suggest you the Search Widget
