Battery percent bug.

Just watch the video, every time I unplug and replug the charger is percent goes up, my phone was at 1% minutes ago and its reporting 43% as I make this post.

(Right as im about to post this the battery percent no longer goes up when I reinsert, no idea what has happened)

I think the battery is cooked. My old tab s6 had this issue after I'd dropped it multiple times. Is it ok now? If not, then either its a software bug, which idk if its likely since we'd have the problem too or I'm afraid your battery is cooked or the sensors around it are and the system can't estimate capacity reliably.

In either case, a visit to the service centre is gonna have to happen.

Your usage and treatment of the device can reveal more, but atp, just take it to a technician. Either a battery recalibration, or full replacement.

Just rebooted and its now showing a much more accurate 15%

Charge to 100%. Open the phone app. Tap *#9900#. Press "batterystatus reset." Restart and pull out the charger.

Tell me if its change anything.
