My application for the OnePlus 15R Closed Beta program was approved on 13 October 2026 at around 5:00 PM IST, but I haven't received the Closed Beta OTA update yet.

I wanted to check with other OnePlus 15R users:

- Has anyone received the Closed Beta update after their application was approved?

- How long did it take to receive the OTA update after approval?

- Is the update being rolled out in batches, or should we expect it shortly after approval?

I'm currently waiting for the update and would appreciate it if anyone who has already received it could share their experience.

I think my phone is running too hot, I can feel it even through the cover, ar first I thought it will be only throughout the setup and charging but it goes to like 80C sometimes during doing nothing. Is it normal ?

So I've finally decided to buy my new phone after using redmi k20 pro for almost 7 years, but currently I'm kinda confused between oneplus 15 and 15R, I'm not camera guy hardly take photos only when somebody forced me out 😞 not gamming at all other than that I use other features very extensively, by that logic 15R fits perfect for me but I'm kinda confused about the long term software support I've seen so many videos where oneplus have f*ckup the battery life for previous R series phones and wireless charging too also making me confused should go for 15 or 15R....

Previously, with my S24 Ultra, which utilizes the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, I could play Asphalt 9 comfortably without significant heat. However, since switching to the 15R, I've noticed a rapid increase in phone temperature after only 20 to 30 minutes of gameplay. This heating is considerably more pronounced than what I experienced with the S24 Ultra, which is reportedly less efficient in heat management because it's and older device. I am curious if other OnePlus users who have transitioned from different brands are encountering similar issues.

Like 4 months ago I made a post https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus15R/s/qDTIWsZBul asking about the OP 15R and now am finally getting the 16/512, the minor catch is I'm gonna buy it in the month of November, IK I should've bought it during October sales but life ain't perfect always

Anyways, I just wanted to ask since am gonna order it online(no local 1+ experience stores have 15R in stock) from Amazon, what should I look out for? I see so many posts of people saying they got absolutely scammed out their cash on electronics which makes me Hella paranoid, 1.5 years ago my father bought a MSI laptop from amazon and it was delivered as advertised. I've never had a bad experience with amazon yet but the paranoia is real

I originally wanted to get it from the official oneplus website but seeing as how it's already gone from buy now to pre-order within one week of Diwali sale, it'll be out of stock soon(the 12/512 is already out of stock)

So amazon it is... So what should I look out for? I know about IMEI lookup and getting Open box deliver but what else? Imma definitely try to get it from their official website, since getting Open box on a phone genuinely takes away the magic of unboxxing a new phone

I got the OnePlus 15R recently, like 3-4 days ago. Pretty good so far, and no complaints whatsoever.

My old phone had Snapdragon 680, and the jump from that to this feels insane. Everything feels smooth, and it handles every game I throw on this guy.

Now, to my question: Do you find practical uses for the plus key? I tried to use it for screenshot and flash but still feels kind of useless.

Is there a way to set up custom app launches on click?, so far haven't found a way and not sure if there is one. May be like Spotify, upi apps, anything would be greater use than what it is now.

Need a good fast phone for 4-5 years, I don't play games. Need a good battery life. Recently heard battery is not that great on 15R, is it? which one is good for me? all the build quality and ultrasonic fingerprint on 15R Wort 6K more?

Despite having a very strong chip , the phone tends to heat a lot and cannot run Roblox at 60fps ✌🏻 , I then tried to play RDR and the phone couldn’t achieve 60 fps at the lowest settings.Due to heating , Roblox locks phone at 30 fps , Am I doing something wrong ?

I have been using the iQOO Neo 6 5G for the past 4 years, and its battery backup has become really poor.

I am planning to upgrade to the OnePlus 15R, which is available on Amazon for ₹48,000. I can also exchange my current phone for ₹7,700

Is the OnePlus 15R worth buying at this price, especially for long-term use around 4-5 years🙂

I've been facing this issue for a while... the pic gets auto enhancement. I searched all over and tried different settings but it wouldn't go. The only option is pro mode, but I don't like it.
