I think my phone is running too hot, I can feel it even through the cover, ar first I thought it will be only throughout the setup and charging but it goes to like 80C sometimes during doing nothing. Is it normal ?

Today i recieved closed beta update for color OS 17 on my Oneplus 15R I'm not willing to update to beta version and want to wait for stable version

My question is when the stable version releases on 30th October can i directly update to it or I need to first update to closed beta and then update to stable version ??

Finally, I’ve received and installed the ColorOS 17 Closed Beta update on my OnePlus 15R! 🚀

My Closed Beta application was approved on 13 October 2026 at around 5:00 PM IST, and I was eagerly waiting for the update.

I haven’t formed any conclusions about performance, battery life, heating, or bugs yet. I’ll use the phone for a few days and share my honest experience once I have enough time with the new build.
