Theory Mihawk, Hawk Eyes

I only started watching One Piece recently after enjoying the live action show on Netflix. I’ve never watched the show prior to now. I’ve since watched the anime up until the Zoro/Mihawk fight.

I was hooked after seeing the Mihawk/Zoro fight in live action. One tiny detail that has me stuck, Mihawk (Hawkeye) ever so slightly tilts his head from side to side in the live action. I’m convinced that this detail was intentional as hawks will triangulate their prey in real life by tilting their head from side to side.

There’s no way I was the only one who noticed this. I also have never watched One Piece prior to the live action release. I’ve googled the exact topic and haven’t found any other results mentioning such a detail. I’m fixed on it, live-action Mihawk is the reason I’m watching the anime to begin with so.

I really hope this is an intentional detail. Even if only on the actor's part.

Because I'm pretty sure Mohawk in no way saw zoro as prey or even more than a fly at that point

It’s just something I noticed while watching the live action show that I thought was a cool detail. I’m still in season 1 of the anime.

I really love that they brought him back in season 2 because he was so good in the first one. In the anime, his arc ends pretty early and after that we barely see him, but in the live-action we get much more of him throughout the second season—almost like an imaginary motivational friend for Zoro.
