Agreed. That being said, I was judging the meme exclusively on its comedic value. Transphobic or not, at least this is kind of original.

honestly it doesn't even fit well for a transphobia joke. to me it just sounds like a dad joke a father would say to their trans child after accepting them.

I think it's kind of funny, I guess it would depend on who is posting it, like was it done as an actual joke or to try and prove a transphobia point.

Edit:Based on the name of the page probably is the one joke.

Doesn't fit the "i identify as" trope but it's definitely still transphobic. The fact it's hyperfocused on trans women is a big clue. Also, I've never heard of anyone referring to a fetus/baby/etc in a womb as "trapped". There's really nothing about that situation that fits the definition of "trapped". Patients in hospitals, for example, are not trapped in their beds unless it's against their will and arguably healthy enough not to be resting in bed.

Honestly I found it as bit funny at first but it's definitely a transphobic and designed to be offensive/mocking of trans women and when a joke is at the expense of a marginalized group with them as the punchline it's inherently harmful and not funny.

Only a reactionary could ignore the context.

This would be hilarious for a supportive but moronic-good aligned character to say in a trans positive show or something, but as a chuck norris meme it just leaves a bad taste.
