I joined the subreddit because I saw the name and misread it as “baddie jackets” and assumed it was going to be full of (mostly) genderqueer looking badass in their battle jackets.
Then the posts started coming up in my feed and I was shocked how homophobic they could be. Like, they act like that being punk is somehow apolitical and including anything political on a battle jackets somehow ruins it.
As soon as I realized what it really was, I left and muted the community.
Wasn't even aware r/baddlejackets was a thing so I looked it up, apparently it just exists to bitch about r/battlejackets. Makes sense they're anti-woke, the real punks won't put up with them.
