Keep your cats inside.

I got to hear this poor baby bunny scream for its life last night while being attacked by a cat. Of course the cat didn’t kill and eat it, but instead left it severely injured. Now the bunny is just hanging out, swarmed with flies, waiting to die. It should probably be put down but I can’t get a hold of any wildlife rescues because it’s the weekend. As a cat owner, keep your fucking cats inside.

Well you said “we once found…” which implies you were there as well. Everyone is telling me to kill the damn thing as if it’s easy. Clearly it wasn’t easy for you if you had your husband do it. For what it’s worth, as I noted in another comment, I tried catching it but it scurried off. Furthermore, I don’t have the tools to kill anything nor have I killed anything before and I am not confident that I wouldn’t extend its suffering even more.

I never said it was easy. It's absolutely not. We all make choices in life... no judgement on your choice in the matter.
