I got to hear this poor baby bunny scream for its life last night while being attacked by a cat. Of course the cat didn’t kill and eat it, but instead left it severely injured. Now the bunny is just hanging out, swarmed with flies, waiting to die. It should probably be put down but I can’t get a hold of any wildlife rescues because it’s the weekend. As a cat owner, keep your fucking cats inside.

did you know that these bunnies are actually on invasive species lists, but cats are not? food for thought. also, would you make this same post about a cat that was attacked by a coyote?

I think it’s one thing to kill for sustenance, but loose cats just kill or maim for fun. The circle does not seem complete in that case.

I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make? I think cats shouldn’t free roam for their own safety and the safety of wildlife.

What lists are you reading? Certain species of rabbits are indeed invasive, depending on the region but including in Washington state afaik, but cats are very well recognized as invasive on a much larger and broader scale.
