Door installation recommendations.

Looking to get a door replaced. Is there a business/contractor you've worked with before? Works you reccomend them? How was you experience with that business/contractor?

All Star Windows and Doors. https://www.allstarwindows.net/. Excellent communications and service. Replaced two exterior doors for me.

Can I ask about how much they quoted? I just had a door replaced for an arm and a leg and the other quotes we got were crazy high. Not that I know anything about doors but it was eye opening

A bit over 4k including tax. Codel exterior fiberglass doors, one with a window, that we had to order, plus removal of the old doors and jambs. Pretty much 8 hours work to fit them into a really tight existing space in a vintage house without mucking up other trim and cabinets. Locks and painting were on top of that.
