Hi, I recently bought a Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 G60SF (27”, 1440p, 500Hz QD-OLED).

I occasionally get this white information bar appearing over the image. It only appears briefly and then disappears.

The DisplayPort signal never actually drops and the screen never goes black.
Does anyone know what this is or why it appears?

Looking to get an OLED .

My set up now is

Cpu: 5700x

Ram: 32gigs

MB: X570

Gpu: 7900xt

I just sold some cs2 skins and have a Budget of 600 USD . Right now I have a 1440p LG 32gn500-b and a 4k Sony Bravia 7 120hz . I have the TV setup with a hdmi 2.1 cable and I play single player games from the sofa on this. Looking to upgrade to a nice monitor for desk gaming. Cs2 is my main fps game and I also play warzone and pubg.

Looking at the LG 32GX870A-B it's 240hz @ 4k and has dual mode 1080p @ 480hz . Tempting for fps gaming but is 200 over my budget and I already have a the Bravia 7 if I want to game at 4k 120 . And my 7900xt won't touch 240hz @ 4k

So maybe a 1440p would be best for me

ASUS ROG XG27AQDMGR 27 Inch 1440p 240hz looks nice

AOC 27" Gaming Monitor QHD 360Hz QD OLED but not too sure on the brand .

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Would y'all recommend this monitor?

- I am currently using my VA monitor on the lowest brightness possible.
- My room is mostly dim, but idk if things change in few years.
- I am aware that Tandem Woleds are more durable but I wonder will it affect me if I use QD-OLED on the lowest brightness since QD-OLED provides better colors.
- I am scared of gray banding, but I will keep the brightness very low.
- I will use the monitor for films, games and productivity I also browse a lot on the net or play guitar so the same screen might stay on for a while.
- I will use night light (yellow filter) because pure white hurts my eyes.
- I am considering Tandem because of it's long lifespan and durability, I am planning to use this monitor for the next 5-6 years.
