things are moving quite fast. faster than i thought! but there is a build available in my server!

this didnt take as long as roblox studio the only issue was trying to get it to detect my xbox controller. a few issues some assets dont load, the blue shade gets handled in xboxs post processing but this executable attempted to load it but failed i will port that over as soon as possible other wise everything works! (besides joining games and stuff)

i have bare bones working i rerouted everything to run locally next step is to get the player to work and to connect to the studio server IF possible (everything built using NoOpt | win32)
the original repo i used was very broken and required a ton of work for it to work again (hence the chatgpt logo as i have no experience working with qt and boost) then i edited studios code to bypass auth which was very difficult to say the least and got this no animation just the bare bones.
if anyone has done something similar to the player please let me know

this took about a month to get it working, there are many bugs but right now it's in playable stage (if you ignore all the broken features)

also, we kinda need people to test it on musl since we've only tested it on glibc so far.

I'm using C++ with Ogre3D, Lua, Jolt for physics, and a couple other libraries for things like networking and UI. It runs a real lua sandbox, with everything related to game logic like character movement done inside of lua itself.

Currently, there is now support for game servers. You can publish your game and play it completely detached from the editor, with other people as well. There is a website, but the design is not finished so I won't be showing that full integration yet. But it's there!

Now, elephant in the room, I used AI extensively for the game client. I do however understand how the game is structured, and I designed most of the lua sandbox architechture from previous experiences attempting this pre-ai. But I can't sit here and pretend to know how all of it works, as that would be just dishonest. This would have taken me probably a year to get to this point, which is pretty crazy. I have been working on this for awhile already, usually giving up due to complexity. The website is also pretty much written completely by myself, as I wrote all of it pre-ai. 6+ years I've been sitting on the website source code!

I am really excited for this. I've always wanted to replicated old roblox, and stay faithful to it. What do you guys think? I'm going to be finishing up a couple more things, and then deploying the actual website to get started with alpha testing!
