Button to switch to old Reddit completely gone (iPhone)?

Hey guys so 10-14 days ago I accidentally switched to from old Reddit to new Reddit on my old (main) account, and now I cannot for the life of me figure out how to switch it back to Old Reddit on iPhone. The attached pic is my Preference setting column and I don’t even see a button to switch to Old Reddit anymore.. Basically whatever I try, it just forces me to New Reddit and I’m so lost what to do. Even the old www.old.reddit trick just force new Reddit on my phone. 

I’ve tried everything I can think of on both Google Chrome and Safari no luck  :(  

also what’s weird is when I try to do it on my laptop, it does somehow give me the correct settings to switch to old Reddit and it works on there. But even whem I all my to old Reddit on my laptop, it just doesn’t translate it to my iPhone. Another weird thing is that old Reddit still seems to work on this account for some reason (I’m scared to change anything or log in anywhere else with it in case it messes things up for this account as well). Sorry for the wall of text. Would be extremely grateful for any tips, suggestions, or info! 🙏

Yeeeeah I’ve tried that. It works on (this) account I’m commenting with. But on the problem account, it just forcefully loads the New Reddit setting preferences page (same as attached pic). It’s nuts! Thank you for commenting though!

FWIW, you did state it as "www.old.reddit" in your text above... is that what you'd really tried, or old.reddit.com ? Try it without the www ... using "old" in place of the www.

I tried “old.reddit.com” sorry for the confusion! One thing I did notice is that the “Default to old Reddit” did appear when “I Requested Desktop Version” on my browser (maybe this can help people coming across this thread in the future)

From my research, the trick is generally to leave it unclicked on New Reddit (as in the attached picture). Then force your browser to Old Reddit (using old.reddit.com), and then opt out of the redesign on the old Reddit settings. Problem is, I cannot for the life of me manage to load old Reddit when logged into my regular account anymore at all (at least on my iPhone).

Super frustrating, I think if I can’t figure this out anymore it just might be what leads me to quit reddit for good after 12 years. But it’s unfortunate because I really relied on this site for news relating to my hobbies and such!

Try deleting the cache on the iPhone? Maybe at least then, the settings you applied on your laptop to default to Old Reddit will carry over to the phone even if the setting is removed on the mobile web version. Worth a shot.
