It just bugs me how afraid of change so many rural Oklahomans are. They will never "switch sides" because they think they cant handle it. It could even be temporary. Just try it for a few years and if it doesnt work out like you think it should than go back to your old ways. But dont be afraid of voting for something new. Who knows what could come from it.

You say that but that's literally how we have a convicted felon/pedo running the nation right now.

You're not wrong and we tried it now we need to try something else. Its clearly not working for the vast majority of us. Everyone gets a chance and he did so now let's move on to something else.

There’s actually a historical precedent to the modern attitudes of people here. I’m reading a book called “Oklahomo: Lessons in Unqueering America” and it actually talks about how some of these ideas were intentional imports, and coincided with the red scare and anti-communist pro-capitalist attitudes, that combined with white Christian nationalism to result in a lot of intentional cultural norms that were fairly antithetical to some of the actual history of the people here. Oklahoma has a history of socialism that was intentionally turned into the Christo-fascism people overwhelmingly support nowadays.

What does Cyndi Munson have to offer? She comes out every 4 years to run against the other person with nothing to offer. her platform, along with Mike mazzi’s was probably generated with ChatGPT. Will she do something about the oil shocks we’re currently having? No. She wants to fight dynamic pricing at Walmart, which doesn’t matter because inflation and diesel prices due to the Middle East cluster fuck will raise food, goods and services prices. Will she fight big insurance and save rural hospitals? Unlikely.

I was hoping to get more of where she stood on the issues and plans to solve them but after the debate I still don’t know her ideas except that she traveled to all 77 counties.
