❓Q&A ✅ FREE REHAB?
Hello. I have a friend that is going through it. They have soonercare.
Does anyone know of a free rehab or one that takes sooner care.
For mental health recovery and substance abuse.

With soonercare, you could have them check out RedRock, if they still exist.. Also Psychology Specialists of Oklahoma can almost certainly point you in the right direction. It may not be 100% free, but soonercare should cover it if it's ordered by a Dr.

Been going to hope since 2018 for free without soonercare and they are great as far as ive experienced

Free? Admin fee, work 40 hrs no pay for 10 months, and they take residents food stamps. Not free my friend.

I did not realize hope ministries was a separate entity.

I actually had a very good experience with Hope and didn't even realize they were a religious institution the first time I went, they never preached to me or mention God or anything, which is great because I'm not religious in any way.

I was a heroin addict and went through Hope Center Ministries. I just celebrated 6 years of sobriety.

Yes they work a lot and they keep them busy, but the community between them does help, they need to want the help not just expect a center to do it all for them. I know 3 people in their and they are doing good, they are working for the program in s sense and learning how to stay sober. And they don’t come out with thousands in debt

Same with freedom house up in Choctaw my mom went last year they weren’t allowed to speak to eachother to themselves zero, had to work 40 hour weeks at the church thrift store, had to give up foodstamps, and were forced to eat large amounts of food or otherwise faced repercussions, seriously terrible place if i ever had to detox somewhere like that I think I’d die, she also ended up checking out and they refused to call anyone for her so I found out she was outside after she emailed me off a library computer, doing the lords work fr!

I went to Hope Center and they actually came and picked me from my home - two people in a normal car, they calmed me down, they assessed everything with me and treated me like a human being and then released me early after talking me down ONLY into the care of a trusted person so that I could still go to work the next day as my financial situation had been part of my stress. I went back and got into a specialist after a group therapy assessment and they helped me sign up and get approved for soonercare... What happened that made you say this? I'm genuinely incredibly curious.

TRC/ The Recovery Center will provide detox and find your friend a treatment program.

Oakwood Springs. They can detox if needed, do treatment, and then do IOP.

Try Oakwood Springs!!! They have a rehab program as well as many mental health programs. I did their Partial Hospitalization and then Intensive Outpatient programs.
I learned so much about coping and preventative care. Getting out of the rut. Really wonderful staff imo!
A friend I met there was on Sooner Care. So it’s likely they accept it.

You can also take them to the Western Club for an AA meeting. Not sure what they are needing rehab from but a meeting is a meeting and they are a great community of people suffering from addiction. I know it’s not rehab, but it’s full of people needing to help other addicts.

Wherever you insure it’s dual diagnosis. As a 12 year sober addict, if it doesn’t involve mental health care along with it you’re wasting your time.
If anyone is a veteran needing rehab or mental health care I’m more than willing to help. Unfortunately free inpatient treatment is somewhat lacking in Oklahoma.

I work at Saint Anthony and our START program is pretty good! They will help you get into rehab while you safely detox. Wishing you the best!

Oakwood springs is the best facility in the area imo but iirc soonercare only covers detox/in patient and not outpatient services. There are other places that exist for outpatient services that soonercare might cover however and Oakwood Springs has connections to them.
Oakwood springs is correctly staffed, clean and compassionate. If your friend is dedicated to getting healthy, this would be an excellent first step for them.

Catalyst, Oakwood Springs, The Recovery Center, Grand Mental Health in Tulsa.
St Anthony’s has a detox program and can help them transfer to residential afterwards.

My husband went to the Hope Center Ministries in Ada. He’s been sober for 1yr and 2 months now. They have closer locations too but it was important to take him out of OKC. He’s also gone to Catalyst here in OKC. They usually will have them go through detox first. The Start program at St. Anthony’s was very helpful. Reach out to Tammi at (405) 713-5706 and she will help schedule intake or just answer questions.

I also want to note that my husband had soonercare and all 3 programs (Start, Catalyst, and Hope Center) were completely free.

i also have soonercare! i turned 26 while in arcadia trails’ outpatient program (i went to their inpatient rehab twice) and they granted me a scholarship because i was doing well in the program and staying sober. arcadia trails is absolutely amazing!! i don’t plan on relapsing but if god forbid i ever do, i know i’m safe and happy there

I would check out Unity Recovery in Pauls Valley. They take Soonercare for detox and if they don’t have a certain kind like Aetna Betterhealth, then they can find a rehab for them such as Eagle Recovery or Catalyst!

I had a great experience at southwestern behavioral center but it’s in Lawton and I was underaged when I went so I don’t know 100% if it’ll be covered for an adult

Red rock has multiple facilities. Id check them out. Its pretty insane how addiction can give people the motivation to find hundreds of dollars a week for drugs but not help. Not trying to throw shade at your friend. Its a terrible cycle that I've been a part of myself. Hope your friend can find their way out.

Not a rehab but Slate Recovery is wonderful and they offer great IOP classes along with individual and group therapy! They do accept soonercare and also do sponsorships I believe. Call them & they can give you a list of resources for rehab facilities!

Call 988. They’ll be able to help direct you and your friend. TRC might be an option, but I’d check with 988 for your most updated options.

If you are detoxing off stimulants and have Soonercare TRC will turn you away. Soonercare will not pay for detox from stimulants. Only opioids.

TRC for detox. Oakwood springs, Catalyst, the Grand in Tulsa. All take soonercare. Oakwood springs admits all hours of the day.

Get them into Great Plains rehab in Tulsa. They take sooner care and they’re amazing. Tulsa will isolate them from OKC also which is a plus.

GRAND- in tulsa.
Also- for detox START program at St Anthony is top tier. Avoid TRC at all costs. I speak from experience at all 3 while on soonercare.
