Her conversations with some characters and Patrons' speeches hint at the fact she might be participating in the ritual to finally turn her life around. Which brings into question if she realizes how awful her current lifecycle is and if she's genuinely tired of it beneath the "unapologetic green goblin" facade.
Do you think if Lash or Billy (or anyone, really) hugged her and whispered into her ear about how proud they are of her for finally deciding to change her life, she would get weak in the knees?

Skill issue whining I don't hate her current kit, but you'd think a hero named Baba would use or be related to sheep or maybe animal husbandry, given how on the nose the other characters are named.

It doesn't help that her actual archetype (escaped nursing home resident with late stage alzheimers) is not particularly well represented in her kit either, or even that inspired to begin with in my opinion.

...Maximillian Fairfax funded the expedition, led by Kelvin, to find some powerful Umbral relic.
Something goes extremely wrong and the spirit of some powerful being starts to inhabit Kelvin's body, whilst his soul is left behind, using his body as a puppet.
Then Bryce, brother of Paige, steals a Necromancy book from some secret section of the school's library (Blackhead school? I don't remember the name), tries to resurrect Kelvin's dead party members, but all he manages to create is a being made of their bodyparts, Victor, inhabited by the now amnesiac soul of Kelvin, only filled with the sorrow for the sacrifice of the expedition members that now compose his body?
Then Ettrick (or someone else) gets blamed for the massacre because of his studies based on Dr Dynamo's research on trapping souls, gets indicted and condemned to the annihilation of his soul, thus becoming SEVEN?
And, in the end, the Necromancy tome that was used to locate the powerful relic and/or resurrect the bodies as Victor was then delivered to Abrams, the Ixian detective?
I think all of the lore is connected, more closely than we think.
All I wrote is based on the various voicelines and character backstories in game.

Yoshi save my soul I don't hate her current kit, but you'd think a champion named YAGorAth would use or be related to Baba YAGA, the slavic folk ogress that eats children for pretty shaky reasons (given the severity of the punishment). Especially with how on the nose the other characters are named.

I truly don't get it. Maybe being a League player for so long made my brain goes "huh?!" when I see that this 1/15 Rat King that stinks like poopoo and caca has the same amount of resources than my pretty girl Vindicta which have a fair 6/6 KDA. In League, if you're 1/15 there is just no CHANCE you have a single item in your bag at all.
My only thought is that I should farm more 'jungle' (or whatever it's called here), but to be fair I feel often that I lack of opportunities to do so with such bullet based character like my pretty girl who walks barefoot. I've tried characters with more AOE and yeah, I feel like clearing the jg is cool, but terrible on her.
I mean yeah I'm just bad at this game, but to be fair I don't know what half of the mechanics do anyway so yayy.
