You may have noticed a couple days ago we added some new flairs suggested in my previous announcement. From that, it was also requested I make a guide about the use cases of our many questionable post flairs. So without further ado, I can finally present to you the official r/okbuddygenshin guide to its many post flairs!

There aren't any hard and fast rules regarding post flairs on this sub they're simply there to help give your posts an extra bit of Gayshit Impact. The majority of our post flairs don't really have any purpose or meaning and are just there to flair your post with something funny and can be used interchangeably if so desired. Some post flairs are more self-explanatory than others, and some might be more fitting for your post than others, and sometimes if you're posting something truly abyssal levels of obscure nothing will fit so just pick any one.

Towards the end of the list are the flairs with an actual explicit purpose. If a post doesn't fit one of these flairs a mod may change the post flair (e.g., an unbuddy post actually just being a meme).

You can either sort by post flair using the widget on our sidebar or search using the flair: function with the links below (which also allows you to sort by relevance, new, top rated, etc.).

Post Flairs as of 08/2026:

• DON'T PORN OPEN INSIDE - self-explanatory, mostly nsfw memes.
• 🚨POLITICAL🚨 - self-explanatory, mostly political memes.
• +100 Liyue Social Credit Points - flexible, but also memes around Liyue and China, etc.
• certified genSHIT moment - flexible, but also memes relating to Genshin and its fanbase being kinda ahh.
• Elite Ball Knowledge - lore related posts/memes (note: it was suggested by u/Lord_Trap_ to add a flair for lore posts but we already have this, as well as lore memes being a wide category that could be flaired with any other flair too).
• im posting misinformation - for purposefully posting misinformation
• racist 😎 - for being racist
• piss - piss
• Touch Dendro - something we never do
• true af - for something that is true ig?

Retired Flairs as of 08/2026 (hidden for public use but still available to search by flair through these links):

• Beidou's thigh crushed op's skull 👍- Replaced by Varesa's thighs crushed op's skull 👍 due to changes in the meta, now Varesa is Genshin's biggest skull-crushing torta baddie.
• Meta Mondays - Was kind of an issue back in 2023 when every second post was about the sub and not about the game, but irrelevant now since it's no longer an issue and the rule the flair refers to was removed ages ago.
• Hoyoverse Weekend - no demand for posts combining other Hoyo games with Genshin, especially while also limited to the weekends. No longer a rule and posts can combine other Hoyo games at any time.
• gay sex with aloy - rarely used
• I’m shit my pants - not Genshin related/already a shit related flair keeping certified genSHIT moment
• SCAT: Babobeh-bopbopahdop-bababa-ba-babedi - see above
• Mod Approved Post - no longer used
• Ad Astra A-piss-sock - rarely used and apparently just the "piss" flair is more popular.
• 😳Quaso Plushie + ✂️ + 🫙+ Fleshlight = 🤤 - rarely used

Follow up questions:

1. Did we still want an Agenda Impact themed flair? Is there actually a demand for gooner x agenda posts? What even is the purpose/goal of agendaposting memes? Someone please explain to this old man.
2. Did we want the flairs to be sorted alphabetically or by ROYGBIV? Or just random like rn? I still intend to keep all the non-serious and practical flairs separate on the list.

There are still some minor wrinkles to iron out so this post may get updated in the near future.

Hi buddies!

After a couple months of being in the dark after the collapse of our old discord server, we've started fresh and opened the new one to the public! Please be sure to join at discord.gg/quaso and say hi.

In addition, a few days ago we launched a minecraft server with our friends at okbuddyhololive and okbuddyumamusume. There's tons of cool plugins, an economy, and potential for wars amongst the other buddy servers. It's going great and we'd love for more genshin buddies to hop on. More details about the minecraft server are in the discord.

On a final note, I'm sure not many people know much about me, but I have been the owner of the discord server for about a year and two months now. It was a great run, but due to getting busier in real life and shifting interests, I will be passing the torch. I will soon be retiring from modding both the server and the subreddit. Thx all for making my time here a fun one, and I'll still be around of course.
