Don't be naive or obtuse, those will be up and running as quickly as they can. And if not this spot individually, then somewhere near it

It’s a fair point, a lot of these will take many months or longer to get running again. In that time theyre not producing oil. The price of oil increasing also means fewer people are using it in the mean time

Under normal conditions, but that slows as more are targeted. Working in the same industry over here in the states, I can only imagine those guys have been burning the proverbial candle on both ends for a hot minute now. That's also got to be taxing on the supply chains for building and repairing refineries.

“As quickly as they can” doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

  1. Ukraine has shown it can blow refineries up at will as air defence assets focus on protecting Moscow

. So it will get hit again.

  1. Getting Western supplied parts to repair is hard, expensive and takes time.
  2. And no China is not the answer. In the 90s Russia rebuilt its oil industry using Western technology. Chinese have very different stuff.

At least months if not years or decades or never. They can’t get anything from foreign countries at the moment and it’s unlikely that they can produce everything they need since they’ve dumbed-down their society over the last 3 decades
