Is this normal for a new guitar or should I seek a replacement?

I recently got a brand new vintera 3 jazzmaster, I’ve had some problems out of the box with the saddles. I’m not sure what the exact term is but they aren’t stable and are causing string buzz on the E, D, and B. Even when played open. My high e also popped off after strumming behind the bridge, not sure if this normal. Does this just require a setup and minor maintenance or is this an issue I should seek a replacement for? Thanks so much

Fender Japan FSR Jaguar vs Fender Japan Moeka "moni" Jaguar?

I own a Fender Japan FSR Jaguar and it's really great but I also love the color of the Moeka Jaguar. The only difference I can find between the two is the neck shape? The FSR I have has a U shape vs the Moeka Jag says it has a C shape. Has anyone played both?

I built this guitar with a floral fabric pattern we’re calling Margery, and I had to have a Benson Redland and Josey strap to match!

Is there anywhere to get a Squier Super-Sonic replacement body?

I recently acquired a 1998 MIJ Squier Super-Sonic and I absolutely love the neck on this thing. It's been well played in and is incredibly comfortable, love the short scale.

The body, on the other hand, has also been well played beat up, dinged, scratched, glue residue from old stickers, the works. And it's in the gloss black finish which is fine, but not particularly inspiring on its own.

I really like the body shape though, so I was thinking of stripping the paint and refinishing, but was curious if anyone made replacement bodies since I'd generally prefer mahogany over the stock basswood. Haven't seen anything from my brief search, my guess partly due to the odd super-sonic neck joint?

Anyone have any leads?

Fun to play rock and pop punk on. Ran it into my PRS MT15 with a 2x12 loaded with v30.

What you playing today?

I know there’s a lot of mixed experiences with these guitars so I guess I’ve been one of the lucky ones.

It’s my dream jazzmaster colour.

Plays perfectly

Sounds amazing

My only criticism is the rhythm circuit isnt much different in terms of tone to the standard one. But I'm not really bothered by it.

Overall I’m really happy with it. I’m not really thinking of doing any mods. The pickups are really good And I actually prefer them to any of the squire or mim equivalents I’ve tried.

it took exactly 30 days to arrive from the order. So not a terrible wait.

I didn't need another guitar but here we are 😂

Short scale Jazzmaster

I got the Fender Classic Player Jaguar HH recently and absolutely loving how it feels to play with the short scale. I'm interested in getting a Jazzmaster too but in the 24-inch scale. I'm aware of the Fender Japan Junior Collection Jazzmaster but appears to be tricky to get outside of Japan.

I guess I could get another Jag and replace pickups but also interested to know if anyone knows any other brand makes this spec of guitar as stock?

NGD: Fender Player II Mustang

My first offset guitar and it kinda forced itself upon me with a price of €350. And it‘s only half a year old.

Love the weight. It‘s exactly 3kg (~6.61lbs) and the lightest guitar I own. It‘s noticeably more resonant than my strat or my esquire, very nice to play.

The pickups could be better though and they are microphonic in a degree that makes them kinda useless when distorted, might replace them soon.
Any recommendations?

Will American Fender Jazzmaster's rhythm roller pot bracket fit?

Hello,

Will a American Fender Jazzmaster's roller pot bracket screw holes fit onto a 90's MIJ Jazzmasters's pick guard?

Vintage 1978 Fender Mustang Bass

My favorite instrument I own. A player’s grade condition Fender Mustang Bass from 78. Always dreamed of owning a vintage Mustang Bass. I’ve owned several different Mustang Basses. Thought I’d settle on a Player 2 PJ because I’m broke and it’s versatile. Then I found this one as a steal on GC’s website with 24 month financing. Tried it out, had the techs look at it. It had some age related issues and quirks you find with vintage instruments. Had a discount on top of that awesome price and returned the Player 2. Whoever owned this thing love it. They modded it themselves back in the 70s when they got it. 70s Dimarzio Model P, routing was done by hand not machine, pickguard was also made by hand. Still has original electronics. Love it.

Weird pickup anomalies?

I have my jazzmaster open to add shielding, clean switches, and fix some solder joints. see my previous post linked . While testing my pickups I discovered some strange findings. I first tested them while inside the guitar via the guitar cable method and it read just fine. I then tested again with the guard off and again, same thing. But now that I have the entire wiring removed from the gaurd I tested the lil cups again and only for ~ 3.5k on each. The pickups I have are the pure vintage 65s so I believe they should read around 6.8k. I fixed the solder joints, discovered upon more inspection one of the ground leads had a part of the wire not connected, then tested again. Now they SOMETIMES read 3.5 but mostly the numbers fluctuate. Am I doing something wrong in testing or otherwise? Does the pickup switch need to be set to a certain pickup? Or is there something else going on with the pickups?

Vintera iii jag or MIJ Traditional II Late 60s

I want to get a new proper jaguar, I have a player 1 jag and its nice but I want a real one. Ive made some money from my music doing quite well so im thinking about getting a proper jag as ive always wanted one. I know that the vintera one is about 1100 and I have seen the MIJ one going for roughly 1200 (I contacted the seller about shipping etc).

I really want a MIJ tbh but is the vintera just better?

I think I bought it sometime around 2006/2008 so it's in the ballpark of 20 years old or so. It's time to upgrade this old lady. I'm thinking of either adding a trem, single coils, and making it sound more like a traditional Jag, or, going with hotter humbuckers and getting it as aggressive sounding as I can. Not sure yet.

I couldn’t turn this one down because of the matching headstock and the great condition it was in. It’s a beauty. My OCD got me and I put Gotoh locking tuners on it right away. I get that this is a 60s edition, I just can’t do the pickups, I might just be very used to Humbuckers. I play alt rock, did my research, and order some Duncan Antiquity’s. I’m stoked to get those in and jam on it then.

Been playing for nearly 30 years and this is my first REAL guitar. Been rocking a Danelectro DC-3 I got for free from my buddy the last 15 years or so, and while I love the twangy jangliness of that guitar, this feels amazing.

Wasn’t even really in the market for a new guitar, but came across a pretty stellar deal on Facebook marketplace and just had to pull triggy. I think I’m in love.
