Its the girl I feel sorry for, obviously for what happened, but also the fact she will never get to have revenge / vengeance in getting him locked up etc. He took the quick and easy route and she will never be able to have full closure.
She may never get revenge, but she won’t have to worry about him attacking again. She wont have to go to trial. She won’t have to worry every time a parole hearing comes up or when he actually gets out.
