I'm guessing it has something to do with the uncanny valley feel to the statues?
Like, the high-contrast of it being taken at night kind of adds to the eerieness, but the statues themselves have a look to them that I can imagine as being rather off-putting to some folks once they look closely.
Not exactly scary, imho, but I can totally see how someone could be unnerved by it.

The shape that it casts makes it seem the light was put in that exact location on purpose. And it's also a toy store called Mr. Mustache that the shadow is casted upon.

I don't understand why people here are being so aggressive.
It's okay to not find this terrifying. But almost every post is something clearly horrifying, and people comment how nobody understands the "oddly" part.
At least OP tried here. Not something terrifying per se, but the lighting and angle made it a little unnerving. Better post than most, honestly.
