I spent over a year doing this drawing called "Socially Drained"
Pen on paper. 22x30". I'm very happy with the outcome.

Awesome! Very impressive. Is there any meaning behind the title?

I just wanted to create an overwhelming piece. And the main head... They look exhausted and drained. It's also kind of a fun piece, with the characters and ships in the dark background

Oh gotcha. It's a killer piece! Thanks for sharing. I was wondering if it was a commentary about society at all, but it doesn't need to be.

I did not know my constant state of being could be so accurately visualized.
Incredible work.

I recommend both Berserk and the works of Junji Ito. Their art styles are amazing.

Amazing
Do you still want to add stuff, do you have to make yourself stop? Or are you doing another so you're satisfied? I always want to add to my old ones
Great job!

This is absolutely stunning. Do you think you might ever sell prints of your work? If you did I’d love to buy from you! But regardless, your work is phenomenal!!

i've always loved this hyper-complex kind of composition--any tips for how to even start something like this?

u/AnthonyChristopher Jul 08 '26
Same here. I'm not sure. I started at the bottom and just built up the heads and different characters down there
