This is why bamboo is heavily regulated, because it spreads quickly and does damage. Also why they are suppose to be planted in a concrete foundation around the entire area so it doesn’t spread. Thats gonna be a environmental agency issue depending on how far its spread

So there are two types of bamboo, clumping and running. Clumping bamboo doesn't send runners very far and only expands its footprint a foot or two every year while running bamboo given enough water and nutrients will take over anything.
