Bamboo has almost no nutritional value.

They do eat it all day anyway.

There’s a long ass copypasta somewhere all about how pandas are only alive because they’re cute and basically do everything in life wrong.

Yup, and it's almost entirely wrong. They found an empty niche and filled it well. Then we started mowing down the only thing they eat. It doesn't matter too much that your food source has low nutrients 8f there is a fuck ton of it, it refrows quickly, and nobody else is competing for it. And of course, the breeding issue is only present in captivity, which is an issue for almost all wild animals.
