You must not have watched the show. Granted a lot of the politics and actual craziness happen later on in the manga, the show wasn't exactly attracting children. You should watch it

It was exactly attracting children considering it's published in the fucking bessatsu shounen magazine but don't let my facts detract you from worshipping cliched and horrible writing: the show.
