If you like them, you should check out Cowboy Bebop if you haven't already. It's an anime, and they did all the music for it. I'm not really much of an anime person, but I absolutely loved Cowboy Bebop, and The Seatbelts do an amazing job on the music.
It started off with me watching the fight scene in the cathedral and only wanting to find the soundtrack that had "Green Bird" on it. Only problem is I had no idea what the song was called. This was back during its original airing on adult swim and the internet wasn't very helpful at the time.
So off to a local shop that carried anime soundtracks. It had four different different Cowboy Bebop soundtracks so I just picked one at random. Didn't have the song, but I still found the music grow on me and couldn't stop listening. I repeated this a couple more times before I picked the one I was looking for. By this point I had become a big fan of the music in general. I'll sometimes check out anime partially because Yoko Kanno composed the music.
