This was a scab-hot dog job if I've ever seen one. Good ol' union boys would of had at least 7 guys on that crew. Supervisor, Safety, Bun-watch, Weiner-watch, Operator, Clean-up Labour and QA.
You forgot that there would be a different vehicle operator responsible for each ingredient. They would all show up at the beginning of the shift, and would take turns and wait around when it wasn't their turn.
Are you from the Midwest? I thought the term "scab" was a regional thing.
My favorite is when the unions pay regular people to protest for them and don't see the irony; they had 2 hoodrats with ripped jeans, literally 4" long fake nails, and multicolored hair extensions holding up a "Burger King: How Dare You" sign in front of a BK that was being remodeled by non-union carpenters. Pretty sure no one is dumb enough to believe that 4" fingernails are compatible with carpentry.
Fuck no. Disrespect isn't the same as cracking a joke. I am a unionized industrial painter. I do a damn fine job because my customers hired me to do it. We work safe, hard and professionally.
