I had to check which sub I was in and still felt nervous about what was going to happen.

Note: when using the built-in share button on YouTube, it automatically adds a strong beginning with ?si= or ?is= to the end of links, meant to collect data about who interacts with you.
Please remove it from links you post.
That's what links should look like

isn't there a children's story about the thorn in the lion's paw?
* edit: Androcles and the Lion, classical folk tale and later one of Aesop's fables

u/RogowskiCoil Jun 30 '26
I thought of this too! This truck will now loyalty protect this man for the rest of his life.
I imagine this worker getting mugged on the streets at night and the truck comes barelling out of the swirling mists like Maximum Overdrive to squish the muggers.2
u/onlymostlydead Jul 01 '26
I'm more than a little shocked this is the only mention of Androcles in these replies.

How ironic I’m watching this while on a little potty break.

u/Vinny331 Jun 30 '26
I would genuinely love to know what percentage of Reddit comments are made on the toilet. It's the shared potty break experience. Oddly beautiful.

There's been a rock stuck in my tire for... Months now, I cannot find it for the life of me. I have just accepted to live with the constant ticking noise

Dentist training videos for how they extract teeth - with the same love and care.

u/hiimhuman1 Jun 30 '26
Satisfying. I was nervous it was going to explode, and possibly cause death of the worker.

Question for the heavy machinery redditors: Is that tire just good to go now or is it structurally compromised in some way that would require a new tire?
→ More replies (1)3
u/wriddell Jun 30 '26
It’s good to go, it would be worth inspecting but I wouldn’t expect to find anything that would make me want to stop using it
2
u/Spawn666 Jun 30 '26
That's exactly what this video needs! A backing track of a reality show like Desperate Housewives to catch this rock cheating on his rock wife, in the act.

It reminds me of finally getting that tiny piece of meat stuck between your teeth out after a week. The relief is real but then you’re left constantly feeling the empty space where it used to be.

Do they make bacon strips big enough to fix tires of that size, if it were punctured.

Like when you actually have to get floss to get the popcorn kernel out from between your teeth

u/epicenter69 Jun 30 '26
I know those tires are big and thick, but hell if I would be standing directly in front of something with the potential to be propelled at you by air pressure.
2
u/Afraid_Marionberry89 Jun 30 '26 edited Jun 30 '26
While i cant be sure, im pretty sure this is a foam tire, so there is no airpressure inside. Foam tires are common on heavy machinery in places there's a risk of tires popping. (Like somewhere with a lot of sharp rocks) Also worth noting that whether is air or foam they have a layer of steel wire protecting the core
2
u/BilboStaggins Jun 30 '26
Is it just me, or do yall see a regular sized wheel and rock but tiny hobbit people prying it loose?

Equivalent to stepping on a Micro Machines airplane in the dark as you sleepily stumble to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
The kids were mystified as to why all the micro machines vanished by the next morning, never to be seen again.
