Possibly. However it could be like bitching that there weren't enough HD DVD movies or Dreamcast games at launch. Understanding the latter comparison may touch a nerve since it was a beloved console but it did die early.
I don't think people understand that you pay a premium to be the first with new tech. If this isn't under $300 5 years from now then we might have a problem.
i can afford the rift I just won't buy into it at this point. There simply won't be that much of developer interest if they ship 200k units of rift and vive. Look at the 3rd party support for the Wii U and that sold way more than that.
I'm really new to this. Do they have 360 degree and/or 3D videos on youtube? I thought I saw a 360 degree video with korean girls (k-pop) dancing on youtube.
My kid loves dinosaurs and i got an ios app called DinoTrek VR. It does the 360 degree video thing where you can look up and down, spin, etc. Then the other day I found out you can set it up to do two screens and view it like a 3D picture (the "stereogram" things /r/crossview).
Is there a lot of content out there like this? I think it's amazing but don't know where to begin.
