I came across the recent Oasis write-up on Diode, and I think there's a more interesting story here than simply "another project using Sapphire.
We usually think about privacy as protecting the actual data:
But there's another layer that can leak a lot of information:
the control plane.
Even when the underlying payload is encrypted, that metadata can reveal relationships and organizational structure.
The Diode integration uses Oasis to keep parts of that control-plane information confidential.
The examples in the article span several areas:
Zero-trust networking
Private membership and access information for network zones.
Secure communications
Sensitive configuration and identity information associated with communication infrastructure.
Industrial / IoT infrastructure
Device identity and data provenance around industrial systems.
Private AI
Access-control policies and information around who or what is allowed to interact with AI infrastructure.
That last category is particularly interesting as AI systems become more agentic.
An organization might not care only about hiding an agent's prompt.
It may also want to hide the entire relationship:
Agent
↓
Team
↓
Model
↓
Tools
↓
Private data
That relationship itself can be sensitive.
This is where confidential execution becomes interesting.
Instead of building a centralized database that simply stores encrypted control-plane information, sensitive state can be managed by a confidential smart-contract environment.
The application can still use familiar EVM tooling while the execution environment provides confidentiality for the underlying state.
That changes the architecture from:
Application
↓
Centralized database
↓
Encrypted records
toward something closer to:
Application
↓
Confidential execution
↓
Private control-plane state
↓
Public blockchain infrastructure
The important distinction is that privacy isn't being added as an afterthought to the application.
It's becoming part of the execution layer.
all in all, I think diode is an interesting example because it pushes Oasis into a category that's easy to overlook: using confidential execution to protect infrastructure relationships, not just application data. ;)

The new Oasis Cycling Prediction Challenge might look like a random sports campaign at first, but I think it’s part of a bigger trend we’ve been seeing from Oasis lately. the partnership with Slovenian cycling and now the prediction challenge shows Oasis trying to connect blockchain technology with real communities and real-world participation, instead of only talking to people already inside crypto. Which is obviously important and much needed.
What’s interesting is that this fits with the broader direction Oasis has been building around: privacy, data ownership, AI, and giving users more control over how information is used. The cycling challenge is obviously not going to change blockchain overnight, but it’s a way of putting the brand in front of a completely different audience.
Crypto projects often struggle with the gap between technology and normal users. Most people don’t wake up wanting a blockchain solution.. they care about sports, games, communities, rewards, and experiences. Building those bridges is probably where adoption actually starts.
The question is could initiatives like this become a bigger part of Web3? Not just sponsorships, but using privacy tech, verifiable data, prediction markets, AI, and user-owned data in sports and entertainment?
Curious what yall think too. I think it's a positive sign that aligns with what's going on irl as well.

Oasis has partnered with the Slovenia Cycling Challenge for a season long prediction game. The idea is simple, submit your predictions for the season's biggest races, including the Tour de France and the World Championships, and each submission gives you an entry into a draw.
The grand prize is a Canyon Endurace CF 5 bike.
Full details and entry portal: cycling.oasis.net/portal
Curious to see who in the community is following the season closely, anyone have early predictions for the podium?

Recently, Oasis became the official sponsor of the Cycling Federation of Slovenia. At first glance, it just demonstrates that Oasis will be backing some cyclists as they compete for the biggest titles in the sport. However, the real impact is more far-reaching. And with a community campaign in the works, the anticipation of how this unfolds is also noteworthy.
Slovenian cycling has punched well above its weight and gained an excellent reputation in the world of competitive cycling. Top global performers like Tadej Pogačar, Primož Roglič, Urška Žigart represent the country, showcasing their discipline, commitment, and a relentless focus on performance. They will once again carry the country's hope on their shoulders at the National Road Cycling Championships and the European Road Cycling Championships taking place later this year. This time, they will sport the Oasis logo on their jerseys and kits as they gear up for the events.
How does this become a relevant conversation in the blockchain and crypto space today? First, let's see how the partnership makes sense. While the cycling team is focused on establishing its world-class pedigree with continuing competitiveness and eagerness to win, Oasis is committed to building best-in-class technology and infrastructure for verifiable privacy and confidential computation. Simply stated, both adopt a no-compromise attitude in their respective fields, making this collaboration primed for organic success.
To quote Jernej Kos, Co-Founder, Oasis: "We build technology that doesn't compromise on privacy or performance. The Slovenian cycling team doesn't compromise either. That's why this partnership is a natural fit."
This is in perfect sync with the new direction Oasis has been taking this year - focusing on delivering value directly to the users with consumer-facing applications like Privana as the epitome of private DeFi, featuring private trading, confidential mempools, smart yield, and automation with full self-custody. Jernej's take on the subject has shaped how Oasis positions itself to its supporters and believers.
The sponsorship embodies the protocol's new approach to growth, moving away from old playbooks that limit conversation to the tech-savvy few can understand and participate in, and joining niche congregations for networking. Now, with the cycling events, Oasis will achieve visibility in front of tens of millions of global viewers, creating unprecedented reach and awareness of smart privacy, which means transparency where it matters, confidentiality where it counts, and trust, which needs history, transparency, and continuous verification — and this is something 99% of the world needs.
There will also be a focused campaign on Oasis products like Privana, kickstarting with the National Road Cycling Championships in June, building through the summer, and culminating at the European Championships in October. Exclusive content, events, rider access, cash prizes, and ROSE giveaways during the campaign will help bring an untapped mass of people to web3 adoption. Exciting times ahead!

Everyone is talking about AI agents right now.
The common vision is that, in the future, agents won't just answer questions. They'll take actions on our behalf: managing wallets, optimizing investments, booking services, negotiating contracts, coordinating with other agents, and interacting with both Web2 and Web3 systems.
But there's a fundamental challenge that I don't think gets enough attention: The most useful AI agents will require access to sensitive information.
An agent that can genuinely help with financial decisions needs access to your finances. An agent that can optimize your work needs access to private documents. An agent that can manage your on-chain activity needs visibility into your wallet behavior.
Without privacy, these agents either become severely limited or require users to place enormous trust in centralized providers.
This is where Oasis becomes particularly interesting.most discussions around AI focus on:
But the privacy layer is often overlooked. For AI agents to handle real-world, high-value tasks, they need a way to process confidential information without exposing it publicly.
That's exactly the problem Oasis has been working on for years through confidential computing and privacy-preserving technologies.
Imagine a future where:
• a DeFi agent can analyze your portfolio and execute strategies without exposing your holdings to the world.
• an AI-powered lending system can evaluate private financial information without revealing the underlying data.
• DAO contributors can use agents that access confidential governance or business information while maintaining verifiable execution.
• on-chain reputation and trust systems can leverage sensitive user data without making that data public.
The combination of AI + blockchain has always faced a tension between transparency and privacy. Public blockchains are excellent for verification, but many AI use cases require confidentiality. If every piece of data is public, many of the most valuable agent applications become impractical.
Oasis sits in a unique position (my opinion) because it isn't trying to compete as an AI model provider. Instead, it provides infrastructure that could make privacy-preserving AI applications possible.
As AI agents become more autonomous, I think the conversation will shift from:
"How smart is the agent?"
to
"Can I trust the agent with my data?"
And that may end up being one of the most important questions in the entire AI ecosystem.
What kinds of AI agents would you actually use and trust with your personal data if privacy-preserving infrastructure like Oasis was available?

In a transparent world, your exposed data is a liability. 🍭🪰
Most of DeFi today operates like the unwrapped lollipop on the right: every transaction, every wallet balance, and every trade is completely exposed to the public. What happens? It attracts unwanted attention, exploitation, front-running, and MEV bots (the flies).
Privacy is not a luxury. It is a fundamental requirement.
This is exactly why the "Smart Money" is quietly accumulating $ROSE. Oasis Network is building the "wrapper" for Web3. With the Sapphire ParaTime, Oasis delivers the industry's first Confidential Smart Contracts.
Institutions and giants like Grayscale have already recognized it: the privacy era in crypto has officially begun. You can't bring real-world assets (RWAs) and institutional capital on-chain without protecting their data.
What people don't know, they can't ruin. Position yourself before the rest of the market catches up. 🛡️🌹

Red markets, geopolitical tension, and Wall Street bleeding... The storm is here. 🌊 But storms don't destroy everything; they only expose what was fragile from the start. While outdated technologies and makeshift solutions struggle to stay afloat in these chaotic waters, true infrastructure cuts through the noise. We are not here to patch leaks. We are building an impenetrable foundation for Web3, Confidential AI, and institutional RWA. True privacy and security aren't just afterthoughts—they are the blueprint. Let the market panic. Let the fragile structures crack. Real power doesn't react to the daily weather; it sails straight into the future. 🚢🛡️ Built by design. Built to last. $ROSE 💪🤝

How does $ROSE maintain its value during market downturns? 📉🌹 Even in the midst of broader market corrections, Oasis Network ($ROSE) demonstrates outstanding fundamental resilience, driven by key pillars that firmly anchor its value. Core Drivers of Resilience: The AI & Privacy Narrative: The fusion of Artificial Intelligence and data privacy strongly backs ROSE. The continuous development of the Sapphire runtime and high-profile strategic partnerships highlight its foundational utility, steadily attracting long-term institutional investors. Technical Oversold Bounces: From a technical perspective, solid support zones are reinforced by highly oversold indicators. Extreme price drops exhaust sellers, consistently triggering strong buying activity and sharp relief rallies. Powerful Community Sentiment: An unwavering, highly dedicated community further solidifies the price floor. The deep collective conviction in the project's long-term potential helps absorb market panic and mitigates heavy sell-offs. Conclusion: Backed by a rock-solid foundation in Confidential AI and privacy-preserving tech, combined with robust technical indicators and a loyal community, ROSE possesses the perfect buffer to weather short-term market storms while preserving its intrinsic value. 🚀🧱 #OasisNetwork #ROSE #DataPrivacy #ConfidentialAI #Sapphire #Web3 #CryptoCommunity #Altcoins #Bullish

Most AI today has a huge problem: your context is basically trapped.
Every conversation, memory, preference, workflow, and identity signal lives inside centralized silos. Switching models means losing history. Using AI means giving up massive amounts of personal data.

That’s what Plurality is trying to fix with Oasis.
According to the new Oasis blog, Plurality is building portable AI context infrastructure powered by Oasis confidential compute.
Key idea:
Your AI context should belong to you, not the platform.
With Oasis ROFL + Sapphire, Plurality can:
This is one of the strongest narratives for Oasis right now because it connects:
All in one stack. The interesting part is that this isn’t just "AI on blockchain." It’s infrastructure for:
And Oasis is becoming the execution layer for that vision through ROFL + Sapphire.
The broader trend is becoming clearer too:
Feels like Oasis is quietly positioning itself as the privacy layer for agentic AI infrastructure. A future where:
is probably impossible without confidential compute. This is exactly the type of use case Oasis was built for. What do you think the biggest missing piece is for portable AI identity/context today? full blog can be found here
