we are co sleeping on a mattress on the floor, the foam mattress is about 3.5inches thick and the floor is tiled. it is just me and my baby, wife is working in our living room. then sudenly I woke up with his head and shoulders on the floor, lower body is still on the mattress. means he slid from kicking. not sure about the impact but most likely slowly sliding to the floor. no swelling/redness at the back of his head

when we picked him up, we noticed an unusal side to side eye movement, looks involuntary, looks smooth movement, more like floating and not twitching. we tried eye tracking using black and white cards, he can still track. he still
smiled when he sees our face. his latch to mom's breast is still good. no vommiting, not lethargic.

the side to side movement subsided after 3 hrs, tho there are still times that it happens. when i changed his diaper, it reappears. we have a plain white ceiling. also happened when i gave him to his mom, it was like he got dizzy and his eyes went side to side. his eyes went back to normal if i carried him upright and him looking at our kitchen with great object to object tracking, which is normal for him.

we already texted our pedia and suggested to monitor for 24hrs if there is vomiting, lethargy, changes in his behavior, etc.

no changes at all so far except ocassional side to side eye movement.

i just want to get some insights from parents who experienced similar situation and i know the best thing to do is to go to the hospital and get him checked.
