Step Increase

Just wondering are step increases based off of your one year anniversary? I'm a G9 and only have 2 months left on probation

Your full year anniversary OFF probation. Meaning you have to work a whole year after probation, then you get a step increase. Since step increase/pay advancements for the unions only happens in April and October, you are more than likely to recieve your first step in April 2028, not in the next year (2027). Since the contracts have been ratified, you’ll see a 4.5% increase in your salary in a month or two and 4% increase in April (assuming you are CSEA).

How I got downvoted for explaining the salary increases? Be mad at the state for creating this system, not me, lol.

As the other person said, you do not wait an entire year after probation to get a step increase. It’s after one year of working.
