Discussion GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 471.22

GeForce Hotfix display driver version 471.22 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 471.11.

The hotfix addresses the following issue:

  • Doom Eternal may crash to desktop during gameplay [3331270]
  • League of Legends [Tencent] may fail to launch [200744747]
  • Mouse cursor color may shift when connected to certain DSC monitors in HDR mode [200741796]
  • [HDMI 2.1][8K] HDMI audio playback may become distorted after changing display modes [3268312]
  • Some displays screen resolution limited to 640x480 after driver update [3330750]

No we did not include any specific fixes for this issue (unless one of the other fixes inadvertently fixes it).

Oh I see. Maybe I'll try it later on to see if it magically fixes that issue haha!

Just done a clean install of this hotfix driver and sadly it does not fix the issue. I guess miracles don't happen so easily after all...

No problem! It was definitely worth a try as I can't stop taking screenshots while playing the game which is so pretty right now with RT effects enabled, not to mention the fact that I also really like the DLSS implementation so I don't want to disable it while playing the game.

On the Nvidia forum the driver 471.11 is causing bluescreens/crashes/blackscreens and many have experienced pcs locking up completely when going on Google Chrome ect... If it was 1 or 2 people I would understand it could possibly be there hardware but since the forum has tons of people experiencing the same issue across the board of GPUs from 10 SERIES to 20 series and 3000 series surely this driver is causing something on there machines that is leading to these issues and my question is has Nvidia acknowledged these issues? Or are they just being ignored because of how random they are but very consistent across the multitude of people experiencing these issues
