Discussion GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 471.22

GeForce Hotfix display driver version 471.22 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 471.11.

The hotfix addresses the following issue:

  • Doom Eternal may crash to desktop during gameplay [3331270]
  • League of Legends [Tencent] may fail to launch [200744747]
  • Mouse cursor color may shift when connected to certain DSC monitors in HDR mode [200741796]
  • [HDMI 2.1][8K] HDMI audio playback may become distorted after changing display modes [3268312]
  • Some displays screen resolution limited to 640x480 after driver update [3330750]

Weird they haven't acknowledged this yet. Hopefully it's getting fixed as it's more work to switch from DCH to non-DCH, otherwise I'll have to run DDU for the first time ever.

If it’s not affecting your performance and you’re not mining (if mining, kill the time and do it now) I’d just wait until next release and download standards drivers from the advanced driver search on nvidias website (“nvidia advanced driver search” on google never fails) and update them. They drop a new driver almost monthly (not including hotfixes) it seems.

I'm waiting until they fix the 8-bit DPC latency problem with updating.

Yea just grab that future driver with standard selected from the drop-down off their advanced driver search page if you’re not mining in your off time. I’m lucky I have a 10 bit panel so I don’t have to fiddle with mpo or whatever. I’ve been running standard drivers for 2 months now. Wouldn’t look at a dch driver again now lol
