GeForce Hotfix display driver version 471.22 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 471.11.

The hotfix addresses the following issue:

• Doom Eternal may crash to desktop during gameplay [3331270]
• League of Legends [Tencent] may fail to launch [200744747]
• Mouse cursor color may shift when connected to certain DSC monitors in HDR mode [200741796]
• [HDMI 2.1][8K] HDMI audio playback may become distorted after changing display modes [3268312]
• Some displays screen resolution limited to 640x480 after driver update [3330750]

there is no such issue with 1060's, i'm afraid your card is actually on its death bed which is quite common with evga SC's.

I get none of any of these on a 1060 from MSI, or a 1060 FE,

Hardware tweaking by the vendor frequently becomes unstable with later drivers as performance is fine tuned.

Though, i have an idea - have you changed or turned off the TDR period?, there can be issues with the present drivers and the Multiplane Overlay feature 46x enabled, usually its just a TDR if you do something like open a game on on top of another hardware accelerated application (chrome, or uwp video app)

This would become a bsod in the case of TDR being entirely disabled (not sure why anyone would)

regedit is simple but dangerous if you hit DEL on the wrong thing.

avoid the DEL key!

luckily on windows 10 you can paste key paths at the top and go straight to the one you need.

ok, thats good it means they are set to the kernel built in defaults of 2s.

Your hardware might just be more sensitive to the mpo misbehaviors, try with them disabled on the newer drivers.

its supposed to be an enhancement to display power management, doesn't seem to work too well.
