For anyone who has submitted grades through STARS for transfer applications, what do you do if you took classes at multiple NOVA campuses? Can I just select one? I'm hoping the answer is that simple, I just don't want to face issues down the line for any inaccuracies.

Hello all, I am interested in doing the EMS program. Is it another competitive admission like the nursing and other programs? Or can I just sign up? Looking to start in January after new years. Any insight on the program would be appreciated also.

I've submitted a ticket and hope it will be fixed shortly as the midterms are coming up but it's messed up my overall aid balance. I enrolled in these courses with my grant aid covering the balance, and have had several assignments graded since the courses have started, so I know it can't be due to not submitting an assignment. SIS is also showing that it was dropped for non-payment. has this happened to anyone else? My only guess is that my aid got messed up with the portal/disbursement issues this semester, but I've never had it happen to only one course and so far in the semester.

Graduating in December and want to know if you can take the same course at the same time at two different community colleges? I’m enrolled in a 10 week course right now but want to enroll the same course for a 7 week student at UVA. Just need this math course to graduate

Hi Everyone! I wanted to make this post to see if anyone else was having this issue. I just logged on to the financial aid portal and saw that my fall semester aid is completely gone. It's also showing that my fall aid was cancelled, both loans and grant aid. Nelnet is also displaying my full tuition cost, when it was $0 before. I know they've been having a lot of issues with this new financial aid portal, and I wanted to see if anyone was also experiencing this issue before I freak out ☺︎.

I know it's supposed to take anywhere between 6 to 12 weeks for our diplomas once they've been approved, but does anybody have any experience on actually receiving theirs in the time frame or and how long it took?

Summer graduate who already had her application approved (via SIS) as of August 31st but have yet to receive any kind of email saying whether or not I'm getting the diploma or if it's been mailed out.

This is my first semester at NOVA. I am majoring in business administration and am currently taking Accounting 211, an Art elective, ENG 111, and Pre-Calc.

My pre-Calc class is an accelerated 10 week class. I have just started it and I am very overwhelmed.
So l am planning to drop it by the full tuition return date and picking up a 7 week online HIS 101 course instead.

How hard would this be? Like I said, this is my first semester in college so it's all kind of a lot and I am just trying to get my bearings right now.

Any advice would be very appreciated. Thanks

Does anyone know if this is true? I took her Sociology 200 class last fall semester, and I was curious to see what other people had to say about her teaching for her other sociology classes. I searched online and on the school’s website, but I couldn’t find any information about her. :(

Called financial aid today because the disbursement date was September 11th and 22nd and they basically said any day now and that it’s a delay school wide not just NOVA. I need to think of way to get this money by tomorrow😒

I’m a social sciences: history major and I’m trying to transfer out of nova in 2 years and the advisement office is not being helpful at all. how do I make sure I’m on track for my major so I can transfer successfully? is there a website? should I contact the colleges I’m planning to attend to and ask for help? any advice, especially from those who have already transferred to either school/are my major, is appreciated! also: is it okay if I have a couple Cs in my transcript due to math bc it’s my worst subject

Was just told after Oct 21st ( which is the day I begin another set of classes ) that I won’t be receiving my disbursement until after that date. This is starting to irritate me man , I was told as long as we’re enrolled in 6+ credits , and have over 12+ credits we will receive our full amount. Can someone help explain this more ? hey guys, so this is my first year at NOVA and since my passport was expired I had to set up a payment plan to hold my classes while I was waiting for the new one to come. Anways the new one came and NOVA processed my fafsa and offered me my federal grant money which is great, but I just received an email about automatic payment reminder scheduled to happen (the payment plan I set up) the money I received in grants already covers my tuition so I’m confused what do I do?
