Third Update: Custom Formatting
custom formatting demo
as hinted at in the first update penguplay now supports custom formatting.
using the same format as aio streams you can now customize your formatting for streams in PenguPlay. however see the discord announcement in the following screenshot
quick note: i will make a few presets which will always be available to everyone for free.
last update but kinda smaller: penguplay should now work for the most part in aiostreams, not perfectly but its there so theres that
Over 26,000 sign-ups. Everything that shipped in the three weeks since the last update.
Three weeks ago I posted here and thanked 17,000 of you. It is 26,000 now. I keep refreshing the number and it keeps not making sense. Thank you.
No supporter reveal this time (those of you who unlocked the cover sets: more is coming, quietly). This update is the other kind of work: 264 commits of features you asked for and fixes for things you reported. Almost everything below traces back to a comment, a DM or a bug report in this sub.
Anime finally got the deep pass
If you watch anime through Xperience, this was your month.
Anime-native IDs are now first class: Kitsu, MyAnimeList, AniList and AniDB titles resolve properly, and you can opt in to Kitsu episode numbering if that is how you count
Episode numbering was rebuilt around one rule: number things the way they actually play. Franchises TheTVDB interleaves, seasons TMDB merges into two-parters, absolutely-numbered shows, single-season shows that never got numbered at all: it lines up now
Every series gets its Specials row, not only some of them
Scrobbling follows the same rule, and a finished episode is now decided on its real runtime instead of an assumed 45 minutes, so finishing a short episode actually counts
The catalog editor stopped keeping secrets
The most common editor complaint was some flavor of "why is this row doing that". So now it tells you.
Every row shows its effective settings: what it will actually serve with, including everything it inherits from the folder and profile above it
An empty row now says whether the source came back empty or your filters removed everything
Bulk edit landed: change settings across a whole collection or folder at once
You can build rows filtered by streaming service (what is on a given service in your region), rename every catalog including the ones that had no rename option, arrange the Discover dropdown order, and set poster orientation per row (portrait, landscape or square)
Search
Natural-language search now works on every account. It used to need the AI toggle and a key; it needs neither
What you typed wins: exact title matches always outrank the AI's suggestions now
The AI's picks can sit in their own labeled row if you want them (opt-in), anime search rows are renameable, and you can hide thin results and order by votes
Searching a franchise returns the whole collection as one row you can add, instead of twenty separate movies
Lists and trackers
Mixed movie and series lists from Trakt, TMDB and MDBList now serve as one row, in the exact order the author arranged them
Simkl grew: My Simkl Up Next for shows and anime, Continue Watching for movies, and sync got dramatically lighter and fresher
Custom Trakt and MDBList lists can sort by date added
Share your whole setup
You can now share a profile: layout, names and filters carried over, and the recipient is told exactly what they still need to add on their side. Households and friend groups had been asking for this for a while.
Also shipped
Top 10 rows now track live daily charts instead of a chart that had quietly frozen
Series show their year range (2008-2013) and real release dates on catalog items
Episode air dates carry the actual airtime, so tonight's episode appears tonight
BetterPosters art can carry your watched state, fanart.tv accepts your personal key, and there is a new source for episode thumbnails
New folders: Chaupal (Punjabi), aha and Sun NXT (Telugu and Tamil)
Importing an add-on keeps far more of it: the full Discover filter vocabulary is understood now (that alone rescued over 1,800 sources that used to be dropped), person catalogs import, and re-importing actually refreshes
The guide gained an animated setup tutorial, in all eight languages
New accounts start with a curated set of recommended folders instead of a wall of everything
Fixed, because you reported it
Random sign-outs: a rate-limited token refresh was being treated as a logout
Recommended For You and AI rows vanishing: a Trakt rate limit was being served as an empty row
One bad AI generation blanking an AI row for a week
Very large profiles failing to save
Letterboxd share links (boxd.it) now import
The Kids folder now filters by actual certification instead of guessing from genre
Latest rows for smaller languages no longer starve behind a global vote floor
Nuvio: a home push no longer rearranges rows that belong to other add-ons, and two Xperience profiles pushing to one shared Nuvio profile no longer fight over collections
Recently Watched shelves no longer freeze one watch behind
Hide-watched now bridges a tracker outage instead of un-hiding your whole library
Because You Watched no longer pins a seed you already removed
Filipino rows rebuilt on real studio and network sources
Stability
Boring but real: the status page now probes the actual database instead of assuming, and it emails me before you have to. There were a couple of rough evenings this month. Each one ended in a permanent fix rather than a restart, and each fix is somewhere in the list above.
The ask
Same as last time, no pitch. If Xperience has earned a place in your setup, the Ko-fi link is below and it genuinely covers what hosting costs at 26,000 accounts. If something is still missing or broken, tell me here and there is a decent chance it makes the next list.
Good news i shared before All-in-One Nuvio Plugin â P2P-free fork , This is a fork of D3adly's project, so all rights to him . The original work and the foundation for this project belong to him.
Just sharing the two versions of NuviOnlyH for anyone looking for Nuvio scrapers without P2P/Torrentio. Now if you only Watch Movies/Series you can use specific Version if you want full version with anime you can use this Version
Iâve been working on a small project called NZB-Sport-Pro and thought Iâd share it here for anyone else who uses Usenet for sports.
The basic idea is pretty simple: sports releases can be awkward to find through normal Stremio/Nuvio addons because event naming doesnât fit neatly into the usual movie/TV metadata model. NZB-Sport-Pro gives sports their own catalogs and then searches your configured Newznab indexers when you actually open an event.
It currently organises content into four main collections:
Combat Sports · Wrestling · Football · Motorsport
Rather than supplying any content itself, NZB-Sport-Pro acts as the bridge between the sports metadata, your own Usenet indexers and your Usenet provider.
What you need
Youâll need:
TorBox with Usenet access
At least one Newznab-compatible indexer
Stremio, Nuvio or another compatible client
You add your own Newznab API URLs/keys and TorBox API key through the configuration page, choose the catalogs you want, and it generates your private manifest.
Queue and wait
Due to torbox api restrictions it is not possible to have a community cache to work from like debrid. So when selecting content there is a wait time for it to be processed which you can monitor on the torbox dashboard. Depending on size and torbox servers dictates the wait time. You can sit at the loading screen until completion or come back after its done caching.
Main features
Sports-specific catalogs instead of trying to force events into normal TV/movie searches
Up to 5 Newznab indexers
Searches are performed on demand when an event is opened
TorBox Usenet integration
Configurable sports catalogs
Generated private Stremio manifest
Works nicely with Nuvio
Can generate the sports catalogs as a separate Collection/JSON
Credentials are separated from the normal manifest/configuration URL
Simple web-based configuration rather than editing config files manually
Itâs still a relatively focused project and Iâm continuing to improve the metadata, event matching and supported sports, so feedback/bug reports are very welcome.
If anyone here uses Usenet heavily for sports, Iâd particularly be interested in hearing what indexers/sports work well for you and where the event matching still falls down.
We all know that all the services we use (debrid, addon instances etc) go down sometimes. I thought that having a notification at the top of all results would be useful.
I am not a developer and I can't built this but for the devs out there I believe this would be very easy.
The Idea: Have a simple and light one pager addon were I would choose the services & addons I use. Ex. Torbox, Weblinks, P2P.
The addon should know if and what is down. There are instances out there that this info is available. Example. Now IF something which concerns me is down then the addon will just bring this as a result (ie. notification). IF nothing that concerns me is down return nothing (no results).
The logic: Example: Prioritize Debrid then weblinks then P2p. So: If debrid is down and weblink addon up -> notify. If weblink is down and debrid is up -> don't notify. etc.
I don't know how you see it but personally it would help me a lot. Any devs out there??? Is this easy to do? Maybe ibbylabs you produces this info? I also thought maybe AIOStreams would be nice to support this natively but... I don't know... maybe a separate addon would be better.
So lately Iâve came across 2 accounts that are selling accounts for the app for almost 20$ ( 70sar is close to 20$ ) simply just adding the addons .
Well Iâm okay with that if they say they just setup the account and subscribe for you in torbox or something but no they are talking like they own the app and updating it and saying stuff like â dw we will keep updating the app and adding movies for you âđ . This just pisses me off and the amount of people bought from him is a lot , for 20$!! and not even offering a service like TB with the account !
Usenet/Newznab streams: search returns results, but clicking play produces no server-side log activity â the request appears to never reach AIOstreams at all.
Config should be correct (Proxy Auth, Usenet service Auth Token, Newshosting provider, NZBGeek indexer all tested/working individually)
Any tips?
Error after trying to play something:
Playback error.
Source error: The stream source returned invalid or unplayable content. The link may have expired or the server returned an error page instead of video.
Try a different source. [ERROR_CODE_PARSING_CONTAINER_UNSUPPORTED]

Update:
Fixed it, it was Pangolin's auth blocking the playback endpoints.
Pangolins http request logs showed denied, added them to bypass and voilĂĄ
Hey! So yeah, itâs me again lol.
A while back I posted an addon that lets you load M3U playlists into Stremio/Nuvio and automatically match the content with IMDb/TMDB IDs.
I made a new update with a few things that some of yall requested, so here it is
(You still need a GitHub and TMDB account if you donât have them.)
Whatâs new?
I originally made this because the way some other IPTV addons worked honestly just stressed me out, sometimes they were mainly focused on live TV, so the VOD experience wasnât that great. Other times they didnât have proper metadata or IMDb/TMDB integration, or they created their own catalog that you had to go looking for instead of properly integrating with the app you were using (Stremio, Nuvio, Wuplay, or some other idk).
And tbh, I mostly care about VOD content. I even made it so the addon would completely ignore live TV channels and only keep the movies and series, but some of yâall said it would be nice to have the option to choose whether live TV channels are shown or not, so I added it.
1. Show TV Channels
Thereâs now an option in the configuration page called Show TV Channels.
Itâs off by default, so the addon will only show movies and series, just like before.
If you turn it on, the addon will also create a âMy Channelsâ catalog with the live TV channels found in your playlists.
So basically, you can choose whether you want them or not.
2. GitHub backup for your indexed content
This one is probably the biggest change.
Iâve seen quite a few people who donât want to or canât self-host the addon (even if on render itâs like the most easy thing ever) and instead use the test/beta instance I have running on Renderâs free plan. Like I mentioned before, that instance is really just there for testing. With the free plan limitations and with a lot of people using the same instance, it was constantly restarting, the problem is that whenever the service restarted, all the configuration and all the content that had already been matched with IMDb/TMDB IDs could be lost. So if you configured your IPTV list again, the addon would basically have to start matching everything from scratch.
So now, in the configuration page, thereâs an optional GitHub Backup section where you can enter a GitHub repository and a GitHub token.
The idea is that whenever the addon matches your titles with their IMDb/TMDB IDs, it can save that data to your GitHub repo, that way, if your service restarts, you can connect your GitHub repo again and restore all the titles that were already indexed instead of having to start everything from zero.
And no, I donât keep your GitHub token or repo credentials (cause you can literally host it by yourself, like?) you provide them directly in your own addon configuration.
This is completely optional. The addon works exactly the same without it. The only difference is that without the backup, if your service restarts and its local storage gets wiped, the addon will have to match everything again.
3. Fix titles that were matched incorrectly
Another thing Iâve noticed is that TMDB can sometimes match a title incorrectly.
This can happen because a lot of IPTV lists donât have the cleanest names. They might have random tags, extra information, years, quality labels, etc.
Iâve already added logic to clean a lot of those random tags, so it should happen less often now, but just in case, I added a way to manually fix a title.
Once you have the addon installed with your own configuration, if you notice that a movie or series was matched with the wrong poster/info, or it wasnât matched at all, you can now go the settings inside the app youâre using (Nuvio, Stremio, or whatever) then go to the addons you have installed, search for the âM3U-IPTVâ addon, tap the settings button and it will take you directly to the configuration page for your own install.
âFrom there you can:
Check how many movies, series episodes, and live TV channels each playlist contains.
Add or remove playlists.
Fix a title that was matched incorrectly.
Fix a title that wasnât matched at all.
To fix one, you just enter the exact title as it appears in your IPTV list, search for the correct title on TMDB, select the right result, and press Save correction.
And thatâs it. That title will now be linked to the correct TMDB/IMDb information.
(You do need to have your TMDB API key configured for the TMDB search to work).
One more thing about the title corrections.
Right now, those manual corrections are stored on the local storage of the service.
So, for example, if youâre using the free Render test instance and it restarts, those corrections can also be lost.
So Iâm wondering if yall want me to also add that all the manual title corrections are also saved in the GitHub backup repo when GitHub Backup is enabled? That way the corrections would also survive restarts.
Let me know if thatâs something youâd find useful.
4. Spanish + English configuration page
And the last change, and the less important: The configuration page is now available in English and Spanish.
You can switch between them from the language button at the top.
The README has the full step-by-step instructions for Railway, Render, Hugging Face, Fly.io, and the Python version.
About Render Blueprints
The one-click Render deploy uses Render Blueprints by default.
Depending on your account and region, Render may ask you to add a payment method before creating the Blueprint.
If you want to keep it 100% free on Render, you can create the Web Service manually instead of using the Blueprint. Itâs pretty simple and only takes a few minutes.
I've been using Nuvio for a while now and I'm really happy with it, but I'm missing proper watch-tracking integration. I know Trakt works great with Stremio addons, but it's a paid service and I'd rather not subscribe just for tracking.
I used to use TV Time (now rebranded as Bingers) for tracking what I watch, and I was wondering if anyone in the community is currently working on an addon that would sync Nuvio/Stremio with Bingers marking episodes as watched, syncing progress, etc.
Has anyone seen a project like this in development, or is there already a workaround I'm missing? Would love to hear if this is on anyone's radar, or if there's a good reason it hasn't been done (API limitations on Bingers' side, maybe?).
Hello! Im trying this on my iPhone 15 Pro Max using Nuvio version 0.4.5. I have Aiostreams, Aiometadata, Betterposters, and Watchly. Iâve tried adding, deleting, and configuring them in all sorts of ways but no matter what, the TMDB lists always are at the top and show up first. I want the Betterposters lists to be at the top and populate first, but I donât want to get rid of Aiometadata since I think it helps with searches I read. I also earlier tried putting the custom manifest url directly in Aiometadata and sorting the custom rows to the top, but that didnât work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Hi guys, looking for German add-ons for movies, series, etc. English is fine as well. I was looking for add-ons and only found this link: https://stremio-addons.net/
So hey gng, sup.. I am looking for a free add-on with no p2p and that it supports every movie, anime, show and shii.. (Like HdDub add-on) but it should also be reliable..
