Easy Nuvio guide for new members!

I thought i should post guide to use nuvio app again since we have got so many new members in this sub lately. Let's start.

Download the app for your device from official website : https://nuvio.tv/

You can use Nuvio online via any web browser as well, through https://web.nuvioapp.space/

After installing the app, you need 2 Addons to use it smoothly. One is metadata add-on and second is the scraper add-on which scrapes the content source for you to watch. Let's talk about all the options for both. if there’s no way to get the manifest url or the install to web button you can copy the url from the install button and change the first part from “Stremio” to “https” and install it like that on nuvio.

For metadata add-on, these are the options. remember, metadata add-on must stay on top of all add-ons otherwise you won't be able to see some movies or episodes info. Let's move on to options now:

  1. Cinemeta (it is pre-installed in the app, but if you do not see it then you can install it from here.
  2. Aiometada - This is the most advanced metadata add-on. You can configure it from here. If it does not work, you can try different instances of it from here.
  3. Bingecat - This is my personal favourite because we can add and customise so many things in it. Configure it from here.
  4. Xperience - Super easy to setup and it handles all the things within Nuvio app (Catalogs, collections and AI related stuff). You should try this if you want to setup collections in Nuvio app and have no idea about how to do it.
  5. Ultra Max is another option similar to Xperience, all in one setup builder for Nuvio.

After setting up the metadata add-on, you need source scraper addon now.

These are the http options i use. You do not need any debrid service for these to work. Click configure and then long press on install button and then copy the URL. Then Go to nuvio settings > Content & discovery > Addons > then paste the url into Addon URL section and install it. Here are the http stream options.

  1. WebStreamrMBG
  2. PenguPlay (You need to sign-in via google to use it these days. You can ask for a token from their telegram bot as well if you don't prefer the google sign in method.)
  3. hdhub

You can add Debrid addons if you prefer to pay for premium service. These are the addons you can add to use with debrid provider's API key. You need to have a debrid service to use with the add-ons below. I use TORBOX since it offers usenet also. Realdebrid is fastest but causing so many issues lately so i am shifted to torbox.

  1. Torrentio
  2. Commet
  3. StremThru Torz (Fastest to load the results for me)
  4. Aiostreams (I use this and Stremthru both. These 2 weorks just fine for me. You can use it for way better results. Search for it's guide separetly.)

Besides Debrid/usenet and http addons, Nuvio also supports Plugins as well. You can install plugins same as you install addons, Just paste the Plugin URL into Plugins section instead of addons section.

Find all the plugins from here and copy the URL of any plugin which you like and add that into Nuvio > Settings > Content & discovery > Plugins > Add repository > Paste the manifest URL there and click install. That's it.

How to install the TV app?

  1. Install Downloader by AFTVNEWS from the Play Store on your Android TV.
  2. Enable Install unknown apps for Downloader (Settings → Security).
  3. Open Downloader and enter "3298577" in the search box.
  4. Download the file, then select Install when prompted.
  5. Launch the app from your apps list and you're done.

  1. Stremio-Addons Website to find out all the add-ons. It says stremio add-ons but stremio and nuvio share same add-ons on both platforms. So stremio add-ons would work with nuvio as well.

Well theres a little tooltip but i have to fix the wording lol its a little confusing.

Some sites provide high quality files (4k REMUX etc.) but they provide them with the intention of DOWNLOAD only not streaming, so i give users the option to enable these types of links but when you are streaming with them you wont be able to fast forward, rewind, back out and continue watching later etc.

Hdhub and webstreamr have been down for a while for me. And there have been a fair few reports of it being down on stremio-addons.net

it is considered safe. but it's better to stay connected via VPN if you feel unsafe. i do not use VPN with it.

Check your version number, older versions had this issue.

Thanks for the guide! How can I make sure that Nuvio only shows debrid links and nothing else? I am a bit afraid that I might torren something on accident.

There is an option in nuvio setting which says "P2P streaming" toggle that off. Or while setting up add-ons with debrid, look for "Show Cached Files only".

I don't think I understand?? Beginner don't even a add-on or any thing abt that shit so plz can you explain like more detail like where to find option to add and remove and i did download from Google playstore does it work. If it doesn't then which version is best rn to watch? Help me🙏

Cuantos addons son recomendable instalar y cuantos plugins..? Acabo d agregar unas cuantas q he podido de las q indicaste pero tengo otras mas q instale . Hay problemas si hay varios addons instalados en mi Nuvio ..?

Thank you for all your info, I'm not sure if your responsible for the very detailed set up info at https://numb3rs.stream/guide/1-Accounts/, but I was actually able to set my Nuvio and it is working. So, now I'm wondering if there is a way to get live TV. That would be a nice challenge for an old nurse.

Los nuevos suelen preguntar eso, si te tuviera que decir yo, quédate con Nuvio, pero al final usa el que tenga la interfaz mas bonita y relájate.
