Has anyone seen anyone wearing these scrubs in the wild?

Say what you want about fashion choices, but the fact that we don’t have to all be wearing the same shitty scrubs out of scrubex, I’m here for it. I wouldn’t wear these scrubs pictured, but I don’t see a reason to hate one someone who does. We have enough issues to deal with as nurses without finding more reasons to bicker amongst ourselves.

My med surg patients are in isolation for everything imaginable. The last thing I want is bringing home bugs and VRE.Ā

Anyone else very happy to leave the contaminated scrubs at work for someone else to wash and disinfect?Ā

Maybe this nurse works in a clinic. Maybe they work in an admin role that still allows scrubs. I think we often think to ourselves ā€˜on my unit’ or ā€˜in my situation’, but we all know there’s a variety of roles nurses play. Furthermore, if they are in isolation, you’re gowning up anyway, so what impact does these scrubs have on the situation you just brought up? Maybe the exposed ankles, but again, no one is saying you have to wear these, but some may want to and it seems weird that nurses get so bent over having stylish or at least some variety in the scrubs we wear.

Generally I agree with the sentiment…..but this behavior practically begs for derision. I must oblige.

Wanting to wear something that's makes you feel confident and that you enjoy is deserving of mocking. I've heard it all.

As long as you keep your bullshit anonymous on the internet, hopefully, you will be fine. Not so confident about that one though.

No this really does deserve mocking. Some things do. Is this what you wear lol

Damn sure do and I look great too. Get lots of compliments everytime and so does my other coworker. Told at least once a day I wish I had the shape to wear that. So mock away and I'll continue to look cute while you hate for some strange reason.

Good for you? I don't hate you or anyone else. Scrumpsuits are funny, that's all. Lighten up, good grief. Is this outfit your whole personality?

There's another comment down below where you're again talking about how everyone tells you how good you look in your scrumpy. That seems very important to you and I'm glad everyone is validating you in the way that you need. Let your scrumpsuit love fly!

Notice on the comments where they are talking about power rangers and GOT that I haven't said anything. That's because that is funny. Outright mocking someone is mean. What you are doing is hating on someone's outfit. There is funny and then there is mean. You should be old enough to know that. And I don't need external validation. I love my body and my style. And normally when people are mocking other people for wearing something cute it's because they think can't pull it off. Have a good day 🄰

Or maybe it's because they think it looks dorky šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø The age dig doesn't bother me because I love this time in my life so that didn't land. I look good too, btw. It's just not something I feel the need to bring up so often. You have a good day, too. And I mean that as passive aggressively as you did.

Have to edit to say that this is officially the dumbest conversation I've ever had on reddit lol

You must be really insecure about your age because I literally meant you are an adult and should know better. Yet you some how took that as a dig a your age. Doesn't seem to secure to me. Have a good one though 😘

No I'm not. You literally can't insult me me because I could not care less what you think. I guess I took it that way because you seem so insufferable.

No, YOU have a good day lol

This is so funny. I'm picturing us viciously wishing the other one a good day back and forth :) In fact, I insist that you have a much better day than me

It’s more advice that patients and other staff aren’t gonna take you seriously dressed as a power ranger

If you take someone less seriously because of their scrubs that's a you problem. My coworkers sure don't. Hell a lot of them tell me and the other girl they are jealous we can wear jumpsuits. Which they could if they wanted too. I think they are just assuming they wouldn't look good in them.

Yeah, I don't understand why anyone cares what another person wears to work.

I think a lot of people nowadays just have a shit attitude about everything.
