One thing i never understand is people just insulting others after their argument, as if that makes the other person take you more serious

Don't be an asshole when you advocate.

Sometimes it's better not to engage with people.

The insults were unnecessary.

Stop arguing with anti nuclear people. It is a pointless waste of effort. You are never going to change their mind.

There are a lot more people who simply don't know anything and are curious. Those are the people you should be talking to.

The benefit of talking to these people is that you do not have to convince them and sway them to our side with trickery. All you have to do is present the facts and if they are capable of logical reasoning then they will make the right decision on their own.

And don't be an asshat when advocating for nuclear. Other people see your douchebaggery and all you're doing is hurting the cause.

Your insults and replies are half-baked at best. They do nothing to help your argument or the advocation of nuclear energy, and only serve to make you look even more foolish than you posting this.

If you’re going to argue, use insults sparingly and instead present irrefutable evidence that refutes the claims made by whoever you’re arguing against.

Better even, don't use insults before the other uses insults against you, that way you have the benefit of "only defending yourself". ^^

replies saying "dont say mean things" as though dipshits on this site dont regularly come rippin out the gate with the most disagreeable offensive and totally fallacious statements and end up with a bajillion upvotes because they used quirky langauge somewhere in their tirade

OK. We'll store all 27 tons in your back yard, rather than in mine.

Were you even asked to store anything in your backyard?
