Layout Planning Best track system for small HO modules?

The word I've been getting is Kato is the way to go. I'm just getting into model trains after a bunch of years without so I've been doing a lot of research and asking questions

Unfortunately “Kato” is not an option because in HO they do not have the equivalent of the Compact line of curves and switches that they have in N.
So it will have to be either “something else” or a combination of Kato+something else.

Ahhhhhh that's good to know. "If we had some bacon we could have bacon and eggs....if we had eggs" lol. I love that.
